Thanks to Yuri Mother for reporting this in English.

Letters From a Rainy Day CG

So, she asks Shiori out in order to protect her sister.

Sigh of the Abyss Cover

Next up is Rascal Devworks‘ (Crown and Cauldron, co-writers of Neighbors by Chance and Catgirl’s Questlist ) newest project, Sigh of the Abyss.

Plot Summary:

You are the product of a bloody ritual; human in appearance, yet imbued with monstrous powers.

There are two yuri romance options.

Cute Bite CoverThe first title is Cute Bite, a vampire title.

Plot Summary:

Speaking of updates, here are reminders of upcoming games planned for Summer or a little later.

A Little Lily Princess Header

Staying on topic of Hanako Games, one of the above mentioned developed titles, A Little Lily Princess is now available on Nintendo Switch, PS4/5 and XBOX One/Series XS. Published on consoles by Ratalaika Games.

My review of the PC version HERE.

Symbiotic Love CoverSymbiotic Love, the prequel to Melancholy Love, published by Kikaiism, is still planned for a Summer 2021 release on Steam. Demo included.

To avoid spoilers, all I will say is the story revolves around a couple who were mentioned in Melancholy Love but the exact details of their relationship weren’t elaborated upon. This game tells that story.

Follow Kikaiism on Twitter for updates.

Chasing Tails CoverChasing Tails -A Promise in the Snow-, by Flat Chest Dev, is scheduled for somewhere between late June and July 2021 on Steam.

Plot Summary:

It appears June’s new house is haunted! And if that wasn’t bad enough, seems like she’s being pursued by a female stalker! The strange girl is sure looking good, but what about her intentions? And what’s up with those strange dreams June started seeing since she moved in? And, most importantly, are there fox-girls involved?!

Uncover the town’s secrets and make girls’ hearts connect in this comedy/horror yuri visual novel

Mass Effect Legendary Edition

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is an HD Remastered collection of the original Mass Effect Trilogy and all DLC. Players can create their own Female Sheperd and there are several female romance options across all three games. The interesting part is some romances made in a previous game carry over to the next game. For example, romancing Sha’Ira in ME1 carries over to 2 and 3 in some way. I’m sure most readers don’t need me to tell them about this considering how huge the series was back when Bioware dominated the Western RPG landscape.

The Legendary Edition is available on PC, PS4/5 and XBOX One/Series X/S.

Sword of the NecromancerSword of the Necromancer, developed by Grimorio of Games and published by JanduSoft. This is a roguelike hack and slash game with the mix of adding recruiting defeated monsters to fight by Tama’s side as she delves deep into a tomb to find the secret of resurrection in order to revive her deceased girlfriend Koko.

Despite the awesome introduction trailer the in-game graphics look like an SNES Action-RPG.

The game is available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and XBOX One.

My Dear Prince CoverMy Dear Prince, Ebi-Hime‘s latest yuri game is available on Steam and itch.io. Think of this as the team’s fluffiest yuri title yet starring a less cynical girl and her handsome tomboy love interest.

Lady in Mystery CoverLady in Mystery, by nolsoft, is now available on Steam. The character designs are by the artist who created The Love Doctor.

Plot Summary:

Seoul, Korea, AC 1786.
‘Heesoo,’ who used to be an ordinary girl, is living in this city as a detective, hiding her identity and even her gender.

5 years ago, she lost her family under false accusations and ran away, disguising herself as a man. She and her servant have been pretending to be noblemen, hiding their true identities.

But her life is about to be thrown into chaos because of this noble girl ‘Juhee,’ who just showed up in front of her out of nowhere…

Enjoy various mystery cases that reflect the phases of 18th century Korea, romantic affairs with charming characters, and absorbing stories that you create by making choices.

You can have a happy ending or a dark ending.
Love or Revenge. Which one will you choose?

Features:

-23 Case Episodes.
-4 Heroines and their different storylines with different episodes.
-30 different endings including 5 main endings led by your choice.
-Beautiful visual effects that bring you right in the middle of medieval Korea.
-40-50 hours of reading time

Lewd Idol Project LadiesLIP! Lewd Idol Project, by Toffer Team, will be split into multiple Volumes broken down into several episodes, centered around the three girls the protagonist Kairi meets. The first part of Volume 1 is scheduled for a release between late June and early July if all goes well. Add the game to your Steam Wishlist HERE.

Plot Summary:

Kairi is a young and cheerful girl with a dream… Becoming the biggest and most popular Idol ever!

She recently moved to Akihabara in order to achieve this goal, but she’s been rejected by around fifteen different agencies so far.

Already short on money and increasing debt, Kairi is feeling defeated after yet another failed audition when she meets Ranko, a self-proclaimed “Lewd Producer” that introduces the innocent and shy Idol wannabe into her most recent and ambitious project… LIP! Lewd Idol Project.

With nothing left to lose, and more questions than answers about this adult oriented Idol group, she embarks on an adventure of a lifetime.

Learn more about the project and its planned release schedule on the funded Kickstarter.

Pale Cachexia CoverLastly we have Pale Cachexia, by Argent Games. While not marketed as a yuri title, the bond the two girls develop is close enough to warrant mentioning it here.

Plot Summary:

In this Gothic story of deep bonds and chilling mystery, a young girl named Esther ventures deep within a forgotten forest.

There, she seeks out a potential cure for her mysterious illness: a life-leeching plague known as the Pale Cachexia.

But when Esther meets Seina, who lives all alone in a towering manor, the two girls are drawn to each other in a tale of friendship, sorrow, and bitter loneliness.

Their story is shadowed by the dark secrets of the manor and its graveyard, which haunts Esther even in her deepest dreams.

Pale Cachexia is available on Steam and itch.io

That’s what I can remember off the top of my head. More will be added when I remember them.

Finally, we’re getting a yuri raise-your-princess-daughter sim! Though apparently the romance is very limited, I really like the Sakuya/Remilia vibes from the girl and butler.
And I’m so happy the oshirabu girls are getting married.

The Mass Effect Trilogy is without a doubt my all time favorite game! (Sorry in advance because this comment is gonna be a little long.)

It was the first game that I played that I could choose the Yuri route. I remember quite vividly the first time I played Mass Effect. My older brother had gotten the game and I wanted to play it ever since I heard your player character could enter a lesbian relationship with a blue alien girl. I looked up how to get the romance and every day after school ride my bike over to my brother’s house to play the game till dark. He let me play it, he’s cool like that. When I finally got my own Xbox 360, which I bought with my Graduation money, I was able to play it at home.

I had gone in to the series for the yuri and had stay for everything else! I had fallen in love with the characters, the setting, the story, everything! I went on to preorder both sequels from GameStop. Special mention to the 3rd one, collector’s edition, which I had preordered a full year before it came out. Of the Xbox 360 versions I still own the 3rd. I replayed the series so many times! But then My Microsoft account got locked because of all those accounts that got hacked all those years ago and I could not play with my saves. All those years of playing were gone. I quit Xbox since. Now I am a PlayStation guy. I had thought I would never be able to reenter this wonderful world again.

Then I got a PS3 and bought the Mass Effect Trilogy for the PS3. I was able to start a new game and relive this wonderful world all over again! For years I was able to replay it countless times! Then a few months ago my PS3 died. But it wasn’t the end of the world because I had already preordered Mass Effect Legendary Edition, so all I had to do was wait for it to come out. I bought a PS5 (had to bid for it and a pay a lot for it , but nothing over a $1000) specifically to play Mass Effect Legendary Edition on it. Now when I’m playing it my face hurts from smiling too much!

The reason for this tangent is to express my love for this series. I’ve spent so much time with these characters, that I’ve come to view Joker, Garrus, Wrex, Grunt, and the rest of the Normandy crew as my Best Friends. To be able to relive the love story between my Colonist Sole Survivor FemShep and her blue Prothean archeologist soulmate, is something truly special. (I also did make a Male Shepard so I could romance Tali, because come on, it’s Tali.) This series has a special place in my heart and one of the few things that will always make me happy, with the others being Transformers, Bleach, and Breaking Benjamin. I also love Mass Effect Andromeda and being able to enter a lesbian relationship with a female turian. Love You Nyx!

So again sorry for the long post but I just had to express my love for Mass Effect.

    I might get Mass Effect.

Definitely picking up Neptunia ReVerse, because I don’t have enough Neptunia platinums.and clearly I should go with the first game a third time over the other main series games a second time.

    MASS EFFECT: Legendary Edition

Do you mean Liara as the romance that carries over? Sha’Ira is the consort you find on the Citadel and that is definitely more of a fling than a romance. She only sends you a letter in the second game and gives you a brief ‘how’s it going?’ moment in the Citadel DLC.

i’m not good with keeping track of Japanese VAs (or English ones either), but I did recognize one from Letters From a Rainy Day, Ai Shimizu, since she played several of my favorite yuri characters, like Eve from Yamibou, Tamao-chan from StoPani, and Ellis from El Cazador de la Bruja. Fun trivia, she’s also a professional wrestler, i kid you not.

So yeah, definitely gonna get this one.
