Yohane The Parhelion Episode 3: Best Anime Ever

This is the best anime ever.

Watching Chika and her sisters as super civilians, aka Million Dollar, save the day kawaii Ghostbusters style was something I never knew I needed in my life but am eternally grateful to have been blessed with.

Of course her code name would be “Big Mom”. OF COURSE IT WOULD!

I fucking love this spinoff.

They used their anti-darkness blasters…and the Ocarina of Time…because of course Chika had the OoT, to free the deer calves but the parents were harder to free.

As if I wasn’t blessed with enough greatness HERE CAME THE PERFECT SISTERS TO BACK UP MILLION DOLLAR KAMEN RIDER STYLE!

MY POOR GUT! SO GOOD! SO FUCKING GOOD!

This before TinkerRuby merged with The Perfect Cycle to power up Perfect Rider D, or Scarlet Delta…because of course the most beautiful in the multiverse had the perfect superhero name. Her creativity is infinite.

Unfortunately the two superheroines got into an ego fight right in the middle of a dire situation because that’s what heroes did in adventure comedies, stroke their egos. In The Perfect Heroine’s defense she was trying to keep the citizens safe while “Katy” (SERIOUSLY. KATY! My life is fulfilled I tell you.) was like “The people can protect each other too you know”. Thankfully Yohane stepped up to stop their petty argument and get their head back in the game. The magic kitty staff used PreCure logic and responded to her courage and levelheadedness by granting her a new power. The best heroines ever got a power boost while Yohane played the OoT to finally free mama and papa deer. Afterward Big Mom recommended Yohane visit the “Demon Lord from Warshimer Island” for answers about the staff.

Now then. Which Aqours member looks like a sexy demon, eh?

If you answered Mari I commend your memory. She’s less a ruler of demons and more an empress of ghost fish. A lonely one to be exact. Gotta admit it’s surprising to hear a more subdued Mari and not the “SHINING!” genki seductress we knew and loved. She’s still seductive despite being sad.

Basically Yohane’s power was her resonance and it could be the key to saving the town of Numazu (Took me 3 episodes to finally mention the town name) but naturally our heroine didn’t think so.

If I understood correctly the growing darkness came from the heart of the world’s power slowly stagnating, giving rise to a calamity. Are we going to get Aqours vs Calamity Ganon? PLEASE TELL ME WE’RE GETTING AQOURS VS CALAMITY GANON! Yohane asked Mari if she could help fight the darkness but she’s afraid of being shunned by the people. Yohane’s like “You’re sexy and cool. How could anyone be afraid of you? I admit I was scared at first but after we talked I know you’re alright.” She didn’t know what to say and sent them off with snacks. Hopefully it won’t be too long before we see her again.

Would I have enjoyed this episode as much if I knew about the origins of their superheroine identities beforehand like other Love Live diehards? Probably but not knowing made them feel even more special and fantastic. As I said in the intro, this is now the best anime ever.
