Looks like this show will be akin to something like The Lies We All Tell. Hopefully it doesn’t slip up near the end like that one did.
We joined our heroines preparing to leave the old company in black and white filter mode to emphasize the sadness of their arduous journey to the new location. I personally found it hilarious because it’s my style of comedy, nonsensical. Eventually they made it only to be greeted by a truck with their manager Kaoruko being all “You should have asked me for a lift”.
It was a classic scenario of soldiers knowing mostly combat unable to find other jobs. Fortunately the moving crew found some practice guns among the boxes.
Best part was Yotsuyu pumping up Nodoka more than expected. The rest was a neat little paintball battle. Well not really paintball but harmless pellets were used. Cute end to the battle too.
I forgot to mention the new building our heroines moved to was a temporary establishment that didn’t exactly restart the company but they could if they had the money. While the girls had nothing to do a “savior” came in Yumi Yotsuya. I honestly want to call her Yotsuya just to amuse myself. Anyway she had a plan thanks to some “persuasion” on her end. Her plan to help them get the money (but actually to pay off her debt) was inviting our heroines to work at her cafe. What kind of cafe?
Yes Yotsuyu. Nodoka does look cute in the outfit.
A sexy Actress concept cafe of course. Our heroines weren’t the only ones participating with Yotsuya as the host but other girls seen last episode dropped by to help.
While all this was going on a barkeep was taunted by her wife and child into running the business better. He grew jealous of the Actress con cafe. One day after being teased again he got drunk and stormed the cafe only to get destroyed by the trained soldier babes. Nodoka’s surprised they handled the situation without panicking and naturally they’re like “An angry drunk guy is nothing compared to alien space invaders”. She’s a bit shaken thinking one day she too may enter the battlefield.
Unfortunately for Yotsuya she let success get to her head and went overboard expanding the business until she’s stopped by the poor image it made of Actresses thus ending it for good. We were treated to another delightful post-ED scene with the sly bartender babe.
Good stuff again.
lol I loved the episode!
I was laughing quite a bit at the silly start XD This show just loves doing things, I can see. I’m sure we’re headed for some drama (there’s no way they would keep on bringing up Nodoka’s insecurities if they aren’t going to get tested at some point), but as long as the fun never stops, then I’m in for it.
So far, so much ridiculous fun~
I wonder why the company was shut down in the first place? Seems odd how that came out of nowhere.

what’s even more comically than they could’ve simply gotten a lift, is that it took the truck just as long as their “arduous journey” to arrive at the same destination

Quite. It’s all excellently executed.
