300 Years Killing Slimes Episode 6: To the Demon Realm We go!

Our heroines were invited to the Demon Kingdom by Beelzebub for a special occasion.

I said the family but the invitation was primarily for Azusa. She’s to receive a medal of honor from the Demon Realm for ending the long feud between the Red and Blue Dragon Clans. Our heroines rightfully feared the worst from the invitation but Beelzebub assured them demons were nicer now compared to the old days…so long as guests mind their manners.

I guess this episode made it clear Halkara was the black sheep, or in less mean terms, the problem child of the family.

While not a problem child Rosalie had a bit of a hiccup. She was excited to attend the ceremony but hoped she could wear something nicer. However, due to being a ghost it was easier said than done. See, a ghost normally takes the physical form of the deceased’s closest memory of their appearance, meaning Rosalie looked the way she did because she visualized her appearance based on memory. Shalsha knew a ghost expert but he said it was impossible to craft clothes for ghosts. Of course Azusa, being an isekai protagonist was like “I can use life hacks so if a spell to craft clothes for ghosts doesn’t exist, I’ll make one!”.

Rosalie has tomboyish and delinquent personality traits but is a polite young lady at heart.

Finally the day to head for the Demon Realm had arrived. Beelzebub surprised everyone with a transport Leviathan that was like a cruise ship thanks to the fancy accommodations on top of it. Her name was Fatla, the older sister.

She had a clumsy younger sister Vania, Beelzebub’s assistant. Can’t find a full body shot of her in the onsen.

The one who had the cutest moments this episode was Rosalie, hence why I’m talking about her the most. It would be a day or two before they arrived to the Demon Realm and not much happened outside but Rosalie enjoyed the view very much. As she told a half-asleep Halkara at night she’s so happy to see the outside world beyond her old haunting ground and was determined to repay Halkara and Azusa. Halkara told her there was no need to repay them for anything. She’s part of the family now and that’s all that mattered.

Laika warning Halkara to behave herself in front of the Demon King.

Yes. Once they arrived at their destination Beelzebub dropped a bombshell on everyone. They had an audience with the Demon King. The only concern everyone had was for Halkara to behave herself. Halkara knew it, they knew it, the people at home knew it. The only thing that could go wrong would probably be because of Halkara.

Which was exactly what happened in the Demon King’s throne room.

Decent episode. Tune in next time to find out if our heroines figure out a way to prevent Halkara’s execution.

Halkara, you only have one job. I find it funny how Halkara being the big ditz she is became a self-fulfilling prophecy. Still, I think Azusa will some how stop an execution and the demon king girl isn’t actually dead. Also, Rosalie looks cute in her new outfit.

Still, the demon king is just as cute as Mao, and probably around the same size, although probably a little bit taller.

We all had a feeling she’d accidentally mess things up. Wonder how Azusa’s Fam will solve this predicament?

Yup. I too was reminded of Mao. Pretty sure most ENDRO~!! fans were reminded of Little Miss Umu.

Oh Halkara. Life is never boring with her around. But I think everyone is kind, so nothing bad is going to happen to her.

Rosalie needs to get a touchable body so that someone can kiss her ^^

Ah, how I had been awaiting Pecora’s debut~ Gotta keep quiet, but there’s a reason I awaited her debut 😉

Rosalie indeed was the star of the episode~

Falfa and Fatla’s names have often caused momentary confusion when reading. “Wait, who said that? Oh.”

I had always pictured Pecora as less short and squeaky… close enough.

When Halkara starts using her head and still gets the group in trouble. 😛

I am glad that Pecora is voice by Yukari Tamura, Nanoha’s VA. Pleasantly surprised. 🙂
