300 Years Killing Slimes Episode 11: Twin Bonding and a Big Tree

Whoever tells you the main point of the episode is about something else is a liar.

We joined our current favorite family before Summer 2021 as Halkara prepared a mushroom feast for everyone. The gang knowing her track record were wary but she assured them it’s all good this time. It looked like she’s right…until Azusa tried a spotted black mushroom that Halkara nonchalantly said was poisonous.

As we can see the mushrooms turned Azusa into a kid, much to everyone’s delight (except Halkara of course).

The great headpat feud.

Auntie Beelzebub living the dream.

Halkara went off to look for an antidote but was unsuccessful so Azusa once more enlisted the aide of her demonic relative. Beelzebub, fan of cute little girls, was in no hurry for her to return to normal.

Neither was the demon lord. Eventually she told them of a professional demon medic on top of Yggdrasil. The journey would be a long one and Beelzebub would be busy so the Leviathan Sisters would accompany our short heroine.

Thus we come to the main reason the episode was made. No, not “loli Azusa is kawaii” but Leviathan Sisters bonding time. Anyone who says otherwise is fooling you and themselves. Do not believe them. Oh, and Yggdrasil was turned into a sort of tourist trap by the way. “Insert tourist trap commentary”, which they show cleverly did themselves actually.

Sexy medic.

Despite facing some challenges in a montage of the remaining 20 floors or so our heroines met the lauded medic on the top of the tree. This being a comedy show all that time I waited for a joke of some kind. It’s so obvious I don’t need to explain it. It admittedly got a chuckle. Plus a friend of mine will appreciate a certain cutie returning.

What I waited over 15 minutes for.

Once again Pecora had it all planned out but this time she wouldn’t get away with it. Azusa scolded her but understood she didn’t socialize very much so she cut her some slack. She’s willing to fulfill one request as her Onee-Sama. It wasn’t “Let us fornicate!” but close enough. Baby steps for the “pure” demon lord. Give her time. She’ll learn.

G-View next time most likely.

It was nice to watch the Leviathan Sisters bonding. I almost think Pecora planned it to give them some time together.

Though the Demon King has other things on her mind. (Boobs)

Beelzebub got to see what Heaven was like, for a while.

Pecora’s always plotting things. It’s not coming through as blatantly in the anime, but if you think “Pecora may have planned this all along”, then you can assume yourself to be right. While she definitely always has ulterior motives, she is an exemplary overlord and accomplishes other less selfish objectives at the same time. E.G. trick Azusa into doing something shameless and extremely embarrassing, but also giving a way for much stronger continued peace between the two dragon tribes than a simple treaty.

It’s like her first prank with a subtle hint of kindness when she got Flatorte and Laika to make the end of the dragon war official. However, she’s still a honi demon lord hungry for Azusa’s taco. Can’t blame her.

Beelzebub lived the dream for one night.

It seems that Halkara can’t catch a break and it’s surprising that Azusa trusted Halkara and ate the mushrooms given what happened early in the season.

Still, Pecora’s and Beelzebub’s reactions are not too surprising. Also, kind of funny how they went on an adventure to get the pills that Azusa had all along. At least it ended well in the end and Azusa’s child form is adorable.

That sky tree is an awesome tourist attraction, even if you have to pay some hefty fees for the elevator rides.
