Yup. As expected they went with this angle.
They wasted no time confirming Teio injured her leg in the last race.
Teio refused to let the doctor tell her she couldn’t compete and wanted to get back in action ASAP. She made a deal with Trainer Guy that unless the doctor told her otherwise near the deadline of the upcoming Kikkashou she would compete. She had to win that race to fulfill her dream of becoming an undefeated Triple Crown winner.
As she slowly recovered she was recommended to try image training, basically watching other horses race and visualizing how she would compete against them. Naturally her teammates all helped her as best as they could throughout her recovery.
Nice to see Special and Suzuka’s long distance relationship going smoothly.
Some of its members include Twin Turbo (shark horse), Ikuno Dictus (big brain megane) and most importantly Nice Nature who really wanted to race Teio. She overheard her possibly competing in the Kikkashou and wanted to do all she could to qualify. She of course did.
In the end despite all her efforts and training safely the doctor didn’t let her race. She kept her chin up for as long as she could but as she simulated herself on the Kikkashou course she couldn’t hold back any longer. Rudolph wanted to be there for her but couldn’t find the right words of comfort or encouragement. As Teio saw Nice Nature and the other horses give their all to prove they’re strong enough to beat her she cheered up a bit and cheered them on.
After the race Teio told Trainer Guy she may have lost the chance to become and undefeated Triple Crown winner but she was still undefeated. She would find another way to become a legend.
Good stuff once more. Nice to see they got through the injury angle as quickly as possible. Next time we’ll see if Teio’s ready to race again.
With Teoi injured probably the bigger issue was resolve, will be prefereable they switch to another Uma issue like on Idolmaster anime

I’m glad they got through it in one episode and Teio can focus on recovering for future races.

Another Fantastic Episode!
Doctor: “This will be for the pain.”
STAB
Man, that had me busting my gut and again when it happen later!
So Gold Ship trains running with a Rubix Cube in her hand and names her Segway S.S. Golshi. I love her.
Special sending her girlfriend Suzuka too many carrots was cute.
Aw, Mr. Trainer is a pretty good guy.
Missed our sexy mature and young cutie announcers.
Love the sexy Ikuno Dictus and adorable Shark Horsie Twin Turbo! Great additions to the cast!
Can’t wait for more! Also praying for a Gold McQueen centric episode in the future.

Teio’s fear is valid.
Gold Ship is awesome as always.
Trainer Guy is cool. It’s just him checking the girls’ legs that irritate people of culture.
They’re lovely announcers, yes.
Great side-horses with more to come.
We need more Gold McQueen, PERIOD.

Poor Teio. I hope that from here on she will run freely with her friends like a wild horse on the prairie.
Special Week takes such good care of her girlfriend, making sure that she’s not hungry. So cute! I’m sure that they have long phone calls every evening (for both of their evenings) before they go to bed.
Nice Nature is so pretty and sexy!
McQueen has a fancy home. I can’t wait for her to get married to Gold Ship (after Gold kidnaps her, puts her over her shoulder and runs with her into the mountains). I want to see Gold Ship dressed as aristocracy.

It’s good that Teio didn’t go down and follow Suzuka’s ignoring the injury and possibly causing her racing career to end. Yes, it’s frustrating, but health comes first of course. Still, it’s surprising that McQueen is that rich. I never expected this.

I’m not sure. The injury is saddest for Teio or for the hairdesser client harassed by fate ?
