It’s finally time for the big CD promotion show. Were our heroines ready to take the stage?
Roko worried about Fruit Tart’s future.
We began the episode with our heroines seeing boxes full of their CDs, about 3000 of them. They were rightfully concerned and Miss Hoho’s double standard replies didn’t help ease their concerns at all. One of the best parts of the episode in fact was each time Roko was like “Damn you Hoho”.
Fortunately Miss Hoho did something good by enlisting the services of someone with marketing experience, Tone. Of course, this being Miss Hoho the real reason(s) she hired her was (were) more blatant.
The first step was practice greetings. Hayu played the fan and the others played themselves. The goal was to use their most charming attributes to win over fans. Ino was up first. Both Hayu and Ino enjoyed the moment for different but equally gay reasons.
Other delightful moments were Hemo’s reaction to Tone’s expertise and when it was her turn to practice greeting fans with Hayu. Excellent. They focused so much on fan interactions they forgot to practice the song. Sasuga Fruit Tart.
Miss Riri’s profile says a lot and I don’t mean her love for Miss Hoho. That’s the first thing we learned about her.
Roko thinking out loud and their reactions were hilarious.
Why, show? Why do you do this to my poor gut each and every episode?
The big day had finally arrived. Things seemed to be going well. Merch was selling and the girls were pumped, except Hemo.
Hemo was really nervous and was afraid of holding everyone back but Ino assured her there was no shame in being nervous. The entire Fruit Tart crew were nervous. She shared some of her courage with Hemo.
Ino was helping a friend in need. Hemo saw it differently.
Hemo was like “I FUCKING LOVE YOU INO-SENPAI!”…in her mind of course, though she hid her affections as well as Ino hid her gayness.
Their yuri power was so strong it touched everyone in the audience. The performance was nice too.
Meanwhile the Cat Studio/Production president kept a close eye on our heroines, particularly Hemo at that moment. Could it be she thought Hemo was the main reason for Fruit Tart’s success? We’ll have to wait a little longer to find out what her master plan is.
Excellent as always. Next time we’ll check out Cream Anmitsu’s side of the big day.
