Is the Order a Rabbit? Bloom Episode 5: Running Girls

Lots of running cuties this episode.

Coffee Girls celebrating and Aoyama watching

We joined our heroines celebrating Chino’s upcoming application to Cocoa and Chiya’s high school when a wild ABM appeared from outta nowhere as usual. Maybe besides Tippy she also took sneaking lessons from Randy Orton. Rin of course wasn’t far behind.

Chiya training

On to the plot of the first half, a marathon was coming up in Cocoa and Chiya’s school and Cocoa convinced Chiya to participate in order to make a great impression on her as excellent onee-chan and senpai. Rize went jogging to lose some “sweets fat” and spotted Chiya training too hard thus she took her under her wing.

Rize praising Chiya

Most of the first half was a tale of two stories:

Chiya training hard with Rize for the marathon.

Cocoa sleeping

Cocoa not being a morning person despite coming from a family of bakers.

Chiya's handy twintails

This screenshot summed up how they did in the marathon. Oh don’t worry. They finished together. Not much else to add. It’s vintage GochiUsa awesomeness.

Yes. “Gonna Fly Now” played in my head during Chiya’s training.

Aoyama, Cocoa and Chiya

On the the 2nd half. Cocoa and Chiya hung out when they spotted ABM. It was her day off but she didn’t know where to start. The girls decided to join her and asked what she would like to do most. She said relive her childhood by playing hide-and-seek.

Rin playing with Aoyama

Rin dropped by Rabbit House looking for ABM as always. She knew about her day off and said she’s playing hide-and-seek with her. Chino with the line of the episode “How is that different from what you do every day?”

Aoyama, master of sneaking

More cute girls running around as the game went as well for Rin as fans of the show would expect. There were two jokes that bust my gut.

Chiya pleading with Cocoa not to goRize chasing Chiya

The foreshadowing and delivery were brilliant in both jokes. To the surprise of no one what made them work was Chiya’s delivery. She’s best girl after all.

The game ended at a Merry-(Bunny)-Go-Round.

Syaro riding with RizeCocoa riding with Chino

Lovely. The following was more important however.

Rin X AoyamaRin X Aoyama 2

I’m grateful these two are intact and aren’t thrown around for the sake of hardcore shippers. Great stuff as always.

The merry-go-round scene was so romantic (I love Chino’s smile in that picture, and the other couples too). Aww. Cocoa’s love for Chino is so pure, it was too easy to catch her with a hug.

“Aoyama sexual harassment Mountain” looking up Sharo’s skirt was nice. It’s the town of all-gay girls after all ^^

I also enjoyed imagining Chiya x Rize for a while. Two hot dark-haired girls, not bad ^^ Chiya’s reaction to Rize catching her at the end of an alley was perfect. Always ready with the sexual innuendo, aren’t you Chiya? ^^

Chiya may have trained some, but my CO is still the best combatant… I mean… girl.

Rin has reminded me of.. someone all season, but I’m not sure who, and it’s driving me crazy.

Congrats to Rin and ASHM on their engagement!

    Every scene

    And then carousel thing~
I don’t know how else you can take that scene. Especially with the way it was worded. The staff knew what they were doing with it.
Was nice to see more phantom thief Syaro too!
I still do wonder when we’ll next get to see caffienated Syaro
Chiya really stole the show this ep!

I find the training segment with Rize and Chiya fun. It seems that Chiya is steping her game up while Cocoa seems to slack off. I find it hilarious how Chino is unable to wake Cocoa up and Sharo getting upset that Cocoa won’t wake up after she begged to her to tain with her. Yep, I guess some things don’t change.

Yes, the hide go seek thing was hilarious. I find it funny how Chino lures Cocoa quite easily. Still, I have to admit that the merry go round scene was really nice. It’s obvious that Rin has a big crush on Aoyama/Midori given how many times she chases after her.

That’s what makes these girls so lovable still.

What I like about Rin X ABM is there’s (hopefully) no flip flopping like there is with every other girl on the show. They’re meant for each other and it (again hopefully) will stay that way.

I’m glad perseverance paid off for Rin as she finally caught ABM’s hand (in marriage) 😀

This show gets better and better each week, which is hard to do given how amazing it already is.

S3 has been so good and it’s got so much new and fresh content too. All their adventures in the town and it was awesome to see ABM and Rin join the girls for the second half of the ep.

Rize and Chiya made a surprisingly good team there for the training. I wish I could have Rize be my trainer. Both of them with twintails was a cool moment too. Twintail gang!

No Megu or Maya this week but it was nice to have the core group doing stuff together along with ABM and Rin.

The merry-go-round scene at the end was so magical and romantic and I loved the moment with Rin and ABM at the end, so lovely. Another side couple I’m really enjoying this season. I’m glad they’ve got a bigger part in this season, we didn’t really get to see a whole lot of them together in S2.

One of a few Saturday shows I can’t wait for more of.

Chiya and Rize’s training session was delightful to see. She might not do this again but at least she won’t tire so easily, I think.

Cocoa’s quite an anomaly not being an early riser even though she a baker’s daughter and sister. I could feel Sharo’s disappointment. Having some special training time with Rize will make up for that, I’m sure(she doesn’t want to do a triathlon, though)

Aoyama-sensei put her teleportation skills to great use here, always being behind Rin’s group. That was a fun game ending with a heartwarming declaration. For all her complaints, Rin really doesn’t mind chasing after Aoyama-sensei, does she?

Cocoa will fall for any Chino-resembling trap because it’s Chino, you know! I wonder how Chino really feels about that. Also, Chiya was so pumped when she was outpacing Rize, only for that dead end to get in her way. Hiliarious.
