A visual novel about 12 people in their 20’s potentially finding love…or not. That is up to the player to decide in ValiDate: Struggling Singles in Your Area.
The sun shines out over a cold Jercy City day. The wind isn’t blowing as hard as it usually does, but you still find yourself hugging your coat a bit closer to your body to shield yourself from the cold. Hurrying yourself along, you duck into a hair salon your friend pointed you towards, and the warmth of a space heater fills your body the moment you step in.
The room is dark, all lights pointed towards the area in the far back that sort of looks like a makeshift stage. It’s full of faces you’ve never seen before — they look so warm, yet so distraught? Did you just walk into a cult?
You decide to sit yourself in the corner, pulling out your phone to text one of your friends, hoping one can help you in your time of need.
Who will you text?
Can you imagine what happens when you put twelve struggling single adults in a room and tell them to interact? Neither can we. ValiDate is a game set in modern day Jercy City in which you have to survive as an adult in your twenties. Difficult? Hell yeah, have you seen the price of rent lately?
The goal is to survive and maybe attempt to date — but you might ultimately realize that the world isn’t on your side and you’re incapable of love. Or are you? Much like in real life, you’ll have to check out all your options first.

Basically a Visual Novel with a cast of 12 people of different genders, pronouns, sexual preferences and body types from across the globe, except whites (That is a Stretch Goal). Sounds good to me.
