Around May, 2019 it was announced Yumeutsutsu Re:Master would be coming to the West. It did but without an English translation. Fast forward nearly a year later and the long awaited English translation got a release date. Not only that but it is multi-platform AND the expansion Yumeutsutsu Re:After will be coming out on the same day.
Plot Summary: This is Koenji, a neighborhood in the capital of Tokyo where the express train doesn’t stop. In this sleepless town, simple country girl Ai Otori stepped into the world of a game development company whose staff really can’t sleep. Will her new daily life with her mysteriously cold sister Kokoro and unusual but pleasant coworkers be a fun picnic or a grueling death march?! So starts the (game) creation story that just might give you a peek behind the scenes of the very game you’re playing.
Yumeutsutsu Re:Master is a bubbly-cute girls love adventure game about game developers. Our last two games in the Nurse Love Addiction series focused on professional life with nurses and nursing students at a hospital. This game continues that focus, putting the spotlight on the people in a game development office, creating a story much like the life our team experiences daily.

- Yumeutsutsu Re:Master on Switch and Steam. ($65)
- Yumeutsutsu Re:After on Switch and Steam. ($50) The Steam page will be added later.
Both Re:Master and Re:After are scheduled for an April 23rd digital release on Nintendo Switch and April 22nd (I think) on Steam. PS4 and PS Vita/TV versions will be delayed due to Covid-19.
I will get back to readers on whether the 65 bucks includes Re:Master and Re:After or getting both games digitally actually costs over 100 US dollars.
Should the latter be the case then an alternative would be buying the Nintendo Switch physical bundle that includes both games via Play-Asia for $64 HERE. I imagine there are additional taxes charged so I do not know how much cheaper of an option it is.
Option C would be hoping Limited Run Games or another company that makes physical copies announces a physical bundle.
That price is like OOF dude. I’m still gonna buy it but I might have to wait for a sale.

I’m usually the person who tells others not to complain about game prices because of how game development is but this looks pretty wild. I want to support this but I’m not sure I can justify blind buying that high.

I know right? I want to support high-end yuri games localisations but that dang that’s steep

Cool, Once the English translation roll out, I’m gonna buy it right away. I have been holding off from buying the currently available version on Steam because it was JP only. Now though, just a little more and I can finally play it!
