It’s time for the youngest member to take the stage.
Looks like Jun asked A-ya to borrow her coat for a bit.
When we last left our heroines after the previous ED they all fainted…except Jun. Turns out their coffee and biscuits were spiked. The Wall is one of those beings who claims to be have the best intentions but is still a bastard. It’s like that douchebag from “Now Another Wrestling Comedy”. He’s a creepy ass stalker but HE’S SUPPOSED TO BE THE GOOD GUY! Readers who had the guts to watch that atrocity will know what I mean…which I’m sure is one or none of you. Good. Anyway remember the diarrhea The Wall had in Episode 5? Jun’s supposed to carry out the jobs herself/be a stand-in for everyone. At least she’s game.
I’m not running down every job. All readers need to know is Jun and Gorilla Goda are comedy gold. Funny how she began cowering at the sight of gorillas but quickly became best friends with one.

Soooooo in her early years Jun had asthma…good golliness molly this is already hard to talk about. Okay OG. You can do this. Do you best dood. It’s hitting home but you can do it. Jun spent a lot of her youth in the hospital. Not getting to go to school or make friends hit her real hard.
Yuu. The girl who changed Jun’s life.
One day sulking in the hospital she was introduced to a peculiarly cheerful girl named Yuu. Jun was like “How could this girl be so cheerful about being hospitalized?” Yuu came over asking Jun to come play. She was surprised to see Yuu had made friends with all the other kids in the hospital (at least I think that’s all of them).

While playing hide and seek Yuu asked her if she wasn’t enjoying herself. Jun said it was hard for her. How could she enjoy not going to school, meeting other people and spending most of her life in the hospital? Yuu compared the hospital to an amusement park. Readers have to watch the conversation to get what she said. Suddenly something dangerous happened to Jun but she surprised the other kids by laughing it off.

We had a montage of Yuu helping Jun come out of her shell smiling wider with each day spent with her.
Present Jun on the roller coaster.
Back to the present for a bit. There was one scene in Jun’s stand-in montage that gave me a bad feeling in my stomach. The feeling was already there but this moment of Jun on the roller coaster had me going “No no no no no no no no. Don’t do it show. Don’t you dare.”
Don’t you fucking dare!
Back in the past Jun happily wrote a love letter to Yuu happily preparing to present it to her. Noooooooooooo…

FUUUUUUCK!
Didn’t you already hit me low with Sakura’s grandma? NOOOOOOOO! You had to have one of the girls suffer from asthma when she was younger and lose her first love to terminal cancer…You sick bastards…Let’s wrap this up already. Jun pleaded with The Almighty to exchange her life for Yuu’s. She deserved to live way more than a bore like her. Later doctors were shocked to discover Jun was cured of her asthma. Cue Jun breaking down again…Almost done.
Together again.
Naturally the girls all miraculously healed at the same time and all was well. Jun worked really hard but enjoyed every minute of it. The girl with two souls.
I hate you writers.
Not gonna lie. This was a hard watch for me. As someone who suffered from asthma, was hospitalized twice and has trouble breathing once in a while this episode hit me right at home. Add a young girl seeing the girl of her dreams taken from her due to cancer and the pain is real. Seeing it coming didn’t stop the waterworks at all. That being said this was one of the best episodes by far.
Thank goodness the next girl to step up is the most important one, right my dear sister?
The Yuri Empire 
This was the hardest episode to watch in a long time. I would have had no words to describe the backstory; well done, OG.
I hope somewhere, somehow, there will be a Kannazuki no Miko moment for these two. It looks like I will love every last girl in this show.
And thank goodness for the Jun and Goda comedy duo. Incredible stamina beasts.
Finally, what’s the chance of having two leopard pattern lolis within two days? Probably much smaller than a reunion of Jun and Yuu in another place ^^

Miyako was very happy that her beloved Jun replaced her as guest radio host so well. I liked her reaction and smiling on Jun at the end.

Fantastic episode.
Having two lolis wearing leopard print clothes seems like a big coincidence, unless it isn’t?
Jun is very talented to be able to do all of that, especial the impressions of the other members were really good.
Now onto the important stuff. What happened was pretty predictable but it still really really hurt. I was enjoying their relationship until the rooftop scene but then “that though” came to my mind and I spent the next part of the episodes hoping it wouldn’t happen but nope. Still seeing how Jun is able to smile and have such a positive attitude after going through all that stuff is truly remarkable.
Those image in the ED were just cruel and a punch in the gut. Not cool.

This episode was so sad. I cried when Jun start to crying uncontrollably. It’s like I can feel her pain. I knew it’s coming but it was harder than I thought. Having to experience that at such a young age. No wonder she became so strong. Like you said she has to souls. I didn’t realize the roller coaster until you pointed that out. That was so sad. Not just Jun every 22/7 girls have sad stories that make them strong. Maybe The Wall picked them because of that. Still, I don’t like the Wall. Her scenes with Gorilla were so funny. Man, this episode was an emotional roller coaster. I can’t wait to see Akane’s episode next week. I’ve been waiting for this moment. I hope it does not include somebody’s dying again. I dried up already.

Yea, this was the hardest episode yet. It was predictable, but that didn’t change the impact. I definitely teared up and felt that pain, especially when Jun broke down. I can’t imagine how it’d be to lose your first love at such a young age and so devastatingly sudden, but Jun took it like a champ and grew from it, rather than let it consume her. I respect her a lot for that and she became that much more likable to me. Her scenes with Goda were gold and I’m glad she could handle her crazy day with such spirit. She really is the girl with two souls, and I’m sure Yuu would be happy to see her living life so happily and to the fullest now; enough for them both. I love this show!

it was a very difficult episode, but Jun really nailed everything. That wall is a slave driver in the literal sense, but she pulled it off, somehow. Every one of these characters have such interesting backstories. And some of them don’t have much “development” to go through, but that’s not a problem, as not everyone is going to have “life changing” moments at all points in their lives. At the very least, we learned that Jun can do the work of 7 for at least a day.
Was crying a lot through the episode…this show is definitely a step above other idol shows.

Oh god, this episode.
Its an emotional rollercoaster.
FIrst it made me laugh with Jun’s impersonations of the other members.
Then that flashback, it hits you like a speeding ten-wheeler.
Kudos to the animation team and the VA. I really felt Jun’s sorrow, that scene really got me….

Best ep yet. I’d be surprised if any of the remaining eps can top this.
I can’t say I personally can relate to anything that happened in this week’s ep, but for some reason it just hit me really hard. I hate it how I knew what was gonna happen the moment Yuu was introduced because I’ve seen similar things happen in other shows, but even so it just hit really hard. The scene where Jun goes to see Yuu and she walks in and Yuu has passed away, I was in tears there. Such a heartbreaking scene. I’m tearing up again just writing this comment.
The Sakura ep was sad already, but this ep just hit harder. I’m actually kinda surprised with how emotional I got from this ep. Like honestly I don’t usually tend to get that emotional watching anime, I think the last show that actually made me break down and cry, not just a few tears but like actual crying was ep 10 of Violet Evergarden; but something about this ep just hit me some way.
As for the happier side to this ep, loved seeing Jun step up and fill in for everyone. She really went above and beyond this week and she’s earned so much more respect. Also her impersonations of the other members were spot on. Okay maybe not Nicole, but everyone else,
The Wall is still weird as hell. I don’t think I like it.
But yeah hands down this was the best ep yet. And I’m so glad I didn’t get spoiled either.
