Koisuru Asteroid Episode 4: #Stargayzing Summer Spectacular Part 1

We begin Part 1 of the #Stargayzing Summer Spectacular with tours of special places to our heroines.

Miss Endou invited the Earth Sciences Club to her hometown to visit some really cool museums/research centers dedicated to their respective interests such as the JAXA center, Geological Museum and GeoPark.

Sakura ecstatic.

The first stop was the Geological Museum. Suffice to say Sakura was elated. What about her fellow club member?

“My love is happy. That makes me happy”.

Something about “I’m happy because the girl I love is happy” puts a smile on my face.

As their tour continued Sakura asked Mira about the rock she found in Episode 2. The one that might be a fossil. They visited specialists to check it out. At first it looked like our heroines were about to be disappointed but fortunately the experts found fish fossil strands. Mission successful!

Leo constellation.

Something I didn’t mention till now was the cool animal girl constellations every time the show goes to commercial. I remember Episode 2 featured Gemini and here we have Leo.

It’s the Astronomy Club’s turn.

The next stop was JAXA, aka Japanese NASA. It was the Astronomy Club’s turn to geek out while the Geology Club were weirded.

Monroe focused.

Since the tour began Monroe looked distant, or focused to be exact.

Monroe was super focused. Sakura lent a hand by asking a question to help give Monroe more vital information.

Mira and Ao motivated.

Meanwhile Mira and Ao asked around for information on how to best search for asteroids. Although there weren’t any experts in the field working at JAXA there were indeed experts out there so there’s still hope.

Later in the evening Miss Endou’s grandparents set up a little party for the gang. Remember Miss Endou asking about Mira and Ao’s dream? She remembered a flier for an annual astronomical object discovery program. Mira was like “WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL US ABOUT THIS SOONER!? DON’T YOU REMEMBER OUR DREAM?” Miss Endou’s like “I was asleep in the other classroom”. She’s right. She wasn’t there when they shared their dream. Still, this was a huge step in the right direction for them. We’ll see how that plays out next time.

Afterward our heroines had an interesting conversation about following your dreams. We know Mira and Ao’s. We got easy to spot hints that Monroe wants to become an astronaut.

Ino hair down.

It was Sakura who motivated everyone to follow their dreams and though she lamented not having one yet everyone was thankful for her invaluable support, especially Ino who was motivated to focus more on her own dream of becoming a cartographer. We got a small glimpse of Sakura possibly having feelings for Ino too.

Miss Endou shared her own astronomy related past. She’s definitely the right choice for club supervisor.
