Azur Lane TV Episode 10: Belfast “Snaps”.

It’s been announced that the last two episodes will be delayed till Spring 2020 in March similar to what happened with Marchen Madchen. This will surely please viewers who had issues with the animation in later episodes. With that out of the way let’s talk about the episode before the break.

Dark Enterprise's Ominous Message

We joined Enterprise again being messed with by Dark Enterprise and the Black Cube, warning her that a dark future brought forth by her hands was inevitable. This either meant Dark Enterprise was from the future or another universe/dimension. We’ll hopefully find out at the end of this episode or in March.

Laffey’s harem in the onsen.

Ayanami’s worried for her Sakura Empire family. Laffey and her harem agreed to help however they could.

Akagi and Amagi together.jpg

Akagi and Amagi.

Skipping Azur Lane discussing the Black Cube and Enterprise again we jumped to the Sakura Empire. Nagato decided to put to Orochi project on hold much to Kaga’s irritation. They didn’t know what their move was plus they didn’t want to show Iron Blood their weakened state. Somehow, probably due to Observer or the Black Cube, Kaga had a vision of Akagi and Amagi being intimate.

Akagi and Observer Flashback.jpg

Akagi and Observer again.

She remembered the discussion the kitsune had with Observer. Kaga wasn’t swayed when Observer talked about the Black Cube’s power but as soon as she said it had the power to bring back the dead she had a bad feeling. Akagi acted as if she wasn’t swayed either but we all know that was a lie. Kaga thought Akagi loved Amagi more than her and she could never replace her. Even so she would carry out her beloved’s wishes no matter the cost.

Evil Amagi.jpg

Evil Amagi.

Let me try and see what happened. Enterprise had another nightmare of her dark self, this time saying humanity is the bringer of its own destruction (Which is true). She then changed to an evil Amagi. Enterprise was like “Cut the crap faker.” but “Amagi” replied “I am Orochi, a creation of ultimate destruction”. I’m guessing the Black Cube is Orochi’s “brain”, which in turn is a Super Siren or something like that. Point being Orochi is messing with Enterprise’s mind with the goal of turning her into Dark Enterprise. That’s what I gathered.

She was found unconscious in the hallway. Belfast said she’d care for her. She woke up moping some more.

Belfast said nothing but was like “I am tired of your emo-ness Lady Enterprise. You are not acting like the boat girl whose stern I so very much want to ram”. At the mess hall she gave her future wife a calm but very stern scolding. Put simply she was trying to get Enterprise to remember what she fought for (She’s a superheroine boat basically). Unfortunately they were interrupted by a surprise attack.

The enemy hurt Northampton. It must pay with its life.

Purifier

Purifier Siren.

It was another elite Siren, Purifier. She stole the Cube. It’s time for Orochi to awaken. Our heroines battle some heavily armed Sirens. Fortunately Enterprise had enough sense to help her team and girlfriend.

Back at the Sakura Empire’s hidden hangar Prinz Eugen was about to steal Orochi for Iron Blood but Kaga was there, about to awaken it.

See you all in March 2020 for the two part finale. I have no interest in discussing the delay or the recent poor animation. It is what it is. I’ll patiently wait for the last two episodes.

The whole scene up to the Siren attack was wonderful.

Yup. That’s why I’m not as upset about the drop in animation quality as others. I can patiently wait for the Blu-Rays along with the final two episodes.

Belfast’s patience finally ran out, she’s just trying to look out for her girlfriend, Enterprise needs to show her some love.

This cube is really causing some havoc for everyone.

As Joe tweeted, that new Siren has some very tight clothes. He’s got an eye for details.

Pretty sure you know where I stand when it comes to animation quality and such, so I won’t get into that here.

Gonna be a long wait to see how this all ends up. See you next year!

Hopefully she’ll come to realize Belfast is her future.

It’s Siren technology after all. That automatically spelled trouble. Too bad Akagi was swayed by temptation.

I say it’s worth the wait, especially for a certain episode being remade.

I agree with you Enty come on it’s time you put not only your eyes and your senses towards Belfast but also your soul and heart to return those feelings because you are slower than a turtle and see that I have seen them run and they are fast, I also hope First to be able to reach that month in 2 months everything can happen and hopefully it is worth the wait.

That Belfast moment! One of the highlights of the entire show ^^

And thank you OG for putting into my imagination the notion of Belfast ramming Enterprise’s stern. Very enjoyable ^^

It’s obvious that Belfast could only take so much of Enterprise being this emotional. I think she might finally snap out soon enough. Also, it’s nice that Javelin, Laffey, and Unicorn is willing to save Ayanami’s friends.

Still, it’s unfortunate this show has a lot of production issues. I guess the studio is relatively too new and took too much work than it can handle. Hopefully the last two episodes will look better.
