As always we Symphogear fans ask how will the show leave our jaws dropped on the floor this episode. SPOILERS, fantastically as always.

To simplify things we’ll address this character as Shem-Ha until Miku tries to fight back again.
When we last left our heroines things looked extra bleak for one blue haired warrior. Fortunately a pink/peach haired knight and others were there to try and help calm her mind to mixed results. Fudou Mishima, I mean Kazanari, was captured thanks to the efforts of Tsubasa and Chief Akuma but a failed attempt at payback by Noble Red reawakened Shem-Ha who resumed her plans of ultimate destruction from the looks of it. Fortunately Maria recovered from Fudou’s cheap shot and stopped her Death Ball. Shem-Ha could crystallize everything using Silver Light but she wasn’t at full strength, giving Maria a small opportunity. Shem-Ha noticed Maria’s left arm and mentioned her being a descendant of the Enki. As we recall Maria knows a song by the ancients, among other clues, so maybe Enki is the name of her race/wherever she’s actually from.

Noble Red Possessed.
Now we know what happened to Noble Red. They’re under new employment.

Tsubasa speechless after Team Symphogear immediately wanted her back.
To sum up the next scene:
-Shem-Ha erected the Tower of Salvation. Fans of a certain Bandai-Namco JRPG will get the reference.
-Fudou was still in Supervillain Mode behind bars.
-Papa Yatsuhiro’s funeral was off screen.
-Captain Bikkie and the rest of Team Symphogear immediately wanted Tsubasa back despite her briefly “turning heel”. Lady you went through hell for most of the season so accept her handshake yo.
Speaking of the above mentioned tower we got a flashback of what happened to Noble Red after their unfortunate encounter.

Noble Red powered up.
It went something like this:
Shem-Ha: How disgraceful. I am far weaker than I realized.
Noble Red: What the? We’re not dead…and we’re somehow stronger…but why do we look more monstrous?
Shem-Ha: Because you have evolved.
Noble Red: Does this mean we can never become humans again?
Shem-Ha: Foolish mortals. You have transcended these pathetic wastes of flesh. Rejoice.
Noble Red: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Shem-Ha: Serve me.
Noble Red: Okay.
Back to Team Symphogear:

Hai! Deth! Bless you Kiri-chan. They used this joke before and it’s still glorious the 2nd time.
So as we saw during the post-ED scene something’s off about the moon. Our cute and sexy team wanted to investigate but Trump did Trump things and got a team of American investigators assigned to the mission, thus our heroines had to ensure a successful launch.

Super Elza.
It was the date of launch and of course Noble Red made their move. ShiraKiri were at the scene facing their respective rival of the group supercharged. Same goes for the other duos.
Captain Bikkie: You said you wanted to become friends!
Vanessa: Why yes…BY TURNING EVERYONE ON EARTH INTO MONSTERS LIKE US!
The supercharged Noble Red had way more awesome tricks up their sleeves that weren’t awesome for our heroines. Again the first one to show off her new power was Elza, shedding tears of rage as she wreaked havoc.

Amalgam ShiraKiri.
Should have known it was their turn to go Amalgam. So good! I won’t detail their epic counterattack. Gotta see for yourselves.
So ShiraKiri were like “We’ve been there yo. Let us show you how to break down dem walls” but her brahs arrived. They destroyed the rocket so might as well retreat. However…

Tsubasa sneak attack.
Tsubasa was all like “I must atone for my sins even if it costs me my life!”. Take a wild guess how Maria took it.
Tune in next time to find out where exactly everyone were transported to. SPOILERS, The Death Egg on the moon. Pretty sure the moon IS the Death Egg.
By the way, if Finé is Shao Kahn then i’d say Shem-Ha is Shinnok but instead of an amulet or gauntlet she has a bracer. Then again depending on how the story progresses she could become Onaga.
Maria´s reaction was like that she doesn´t want to leave her beloved Tsubasa alone with these sins and my god, this is going to be a confession in – surely – ep12.
Main event in ep13 should be a Miku vs. Hibiki rematch as final match.
Apropos Amalgam: If everything goes like I predict, M x T will have their couple Amalgam either before or after M´s confession.

Am I the only one getting kinda tired of Shem-Ha? She’s not really all that entertaining of a villain, and it’s really disappointing that they hyped this season up as a Miku focused season only for her to either be unconscious or brainwashed for half of it so far.

Of course there are others who share your disdain.

“Disdain” is a strong word. “Disappointment” is more what I’m feeling. Shem-Ha’s been built up for a while, but she hasn’t really done anything except speak cryptically and steal the spotlight from a character I really cared about, so I’m just not feeling the hype I should be from “singing lesbians fight God.” As long as the HibiMiku reunion’s handled well, I’ll be able to get over it, it’s just that the longer it takes the more worried I am that they won’t handle it well. (As much as I love Gurren Lagann and Madoka Magica, please for the love of God don’t reference either of their endings with Miku).

I agree with you on being disappointed. I was never a big fan of “brain-washed/possessed heel turn” plotlines to begin with, and they have to rehash it using Miku again

I’d be ok if it was a corruption plot-line. I honestly really liked when they did this in G because it still felt like Miku, just turned evil (even if she was being controlled). It’s just that we don’t have any real sign of Miku here, so it’s a lot less interesting.

Fudo plan out of his control.
My prediction that the trio were dead was wrong but still hardly will end happy for them since their continue in the wrong side..

I mean, they did die. They just got better.

They were still standing after taking Shem-Ha’s attack at her weakest. She was impressed and gave then a power boost. Done.

They flat out said they died ._.
Shem Ha just saw that they had potential to be ever stronger/useful to her.

I dunno how this episode was so fast. I couldn’t believe the ED song started as soon as it did
If I must address one thing, rather than Miku trying to wrest control, I’m pretty sure that scene was the moment notHeihachi put his mind curse on her. I don’t doubt we’re going to get there, but we haven’t yet is my point. Still three episodes left for things to happen, so I’m sure we’re going to see Miku make a ruckus in Shem ha’s soulspace.
Good on Tsubasa! I’d say that easily makes up for everything. That single move was the only way that they ever were going to have a chance.
Shirabe and Kirika were so ❤ as always~

That’s what I said. Miku will try to get her body back again at some point.
She’s thinking about using the heroic sacrifice card. Maria will be there with a Plan B I’m sure.
They always are.

Maria will have also Plan C: C for confession.

Amalgam ShiraKiri was soooo badass. Love these two so much!
It’s been such a rough season for Tsubasa, liked that scene with them all welcoming her back.
Noble Red 2.0 is pretty wild. Shem-Ha really did a number on them.
Looks like we’re going back to the moon once again. Should be a wild finale!

ShiraKiri are orecious badasses.
It was very sweet.
Oh yes.
Most of us are counting on that.

I would like to see Miku returned to her human self quickly, next episode, rather than drag this pointless “possession” any longer.

Another great episode. I’m glad Noble Red still alive. Miku’s body being used once again but I have a feeling this will be different. I really hope it ends well for Miku and Hibiki. The fight between ShiraKiri and Elza was awesome. I hope Hibiki can convince Vanessa, being a monster doesn’t mean they have to act like one. Battles in Moon, here we go.

My thing is I see the possession as a means to an end to further develop HibiMiku’s relationship with the hopeful outcome, meaning Miku’s conscience fighting one more time to regain control thanks to Bikkie’s magic words or something along those lines.
ShiraKiri are precious.
Fingers crossed Noble Red somehow escape a fate similar to that of the Agents of Illuminati. No redemption sacrifices please.

Problem with this being build-up for their relationship is that there hasn’t really been any build-up during this plot-line. The two of them haven’t interacted face-to-face since episode 5, and the way things are going I doubt they will again until part-way through episode 12 at the earliest. Plus shouldn’t Miku have some agency in this plot-line that was hyped up as being Miku-centric?

Hmm….I see it as Miku fighting shem ha to save Hibiki this time. I mean, it’s just a guess, but it seems like this will be an example of Miku protecting Hibiki. Likely even saving her.
