Omaga Labyrinth + Crystar Announcements

Two big announcements to share. One more surprising than the other.

Omega Labyrinth Life.jpg

The first announcement is by D3P Publishing, which is the somewhat surprising localization of BOTH Omega Labyrinth Life for the Nintendo Switch and Labyrinth Life for the PS4.

Both Omega Labyrinth Life and Labyrinth Life feature similar characters, character skills, items, monsters, story plot, dungeon layouts and difficulty settings, but each differ by how they display their sexual content. A list of key differences and comparisons between the two console versions of the game can be found on the game’s website in Japanese here.

In short the PS4 version is HEAVILY censored.

The story unfolds at Belles Fleurs Academy, a spacious school with a beautiful floral garden that holds a sacred flower of legend known as “Flora,” which radiates a mysterious power that is rumored to grant an everlasting bloom effect to the rest of the flowers in the garden. Suddenly, the everlasting bloom to the flowers in the garden wither away when maiden Hinata Akatsuki transfers to the Academy. Now, Hinata along with a new cast of stunning maidens from the academy, go off on an adventure, exploring a sacred dungeon in hopes of returning the garden back to its grandeur, and to fulfil their own hopes and dreams at Belles Fleurs Academy.

Both games will bring familiar roguelike JRPG turn-based mechanics like the previous Omega Labyrinth series in which maidens can grow their chest size by accumulating the mysterious Omega Power by defeating enemies in a procedurally generated dungeon with the risk of losing all of the player’s earned stats, items, and gear upon defeat.

Omega Labyrinth Life and Labyrinth Life key features include:

Omega Labyrinth Life Omega Power.jpg

Omega Power. Too powerful for Sony.

Tactical turn-based combat: Control and execute strategies between the maidens against various enemies in 2D dungeons
Procedurally generated dungeons: Dungeon layouts and enemy placement are always randomised every playthrough, bursting with loot and challenges
Maiden’s dream: Collect Omega Power by defeating enemies to grow maiden’s breasts up to Z-Cup
Breast Burst Mode: Activate to double a maiden’s stats for a short period of time for tight situations against formidable enemies or enemy hordes
Skill★Bloom System: Unlock new skills, stats, and more with nectars found in the dungeon and academy that will reveal unique illustrations from each maiden
Size up System: Squeeze and rub discovered item drops in dungeons between maiden’s breasts to reveal their potential to a maiden’s journey
New Double Breast System: Change between maidens during a dungeon-crawl to utilise various skills and gain a tactical advantage to maneuver around enemies and obstacles
Take a break in Slow Life: Enjoy life outside of fighting and dungeon crawling back at Belles Fleurs Academy by exploring the Garden Academy, chatting with other maidens, and managing the garden’s beautiful upkeep for collecting powerups and more

Look forward to Omega Labyrinth Life (and Labyrinth Life I suppose) August 1st. Yup. Next week as of this writing.

Crystar Logo

The second announcement is Crystar being available for pre-order.

I already covered the game’s localization announcement HERE so check that post out for a bit more info.

Note: The Pre-Order refers to the PS4 version so visit your local PS Store and look up Crystar. The game will be available on August 27th (NA) and August 30th (EU). PC/Steam version will most likely have the discount on the first week.

Ah yes. One more thing regarding the PS4 version of Crystar.

    No PC(Steam) version?

Will surely be censored on PS4 due to Sony.

Reminds me a little bit of Conception 2, but with girls only instead of making childs with them.

Good thing is Crystar will be uncensored on PC too, and now we will also be blessed with the more power version of Omega Labyrinth on switch.

  4. qorl says:

I like breasts as much as the next person but this feature list sounds just a bit too fetishy and pathetic for my taste. “Squeeze and rub discovered item drops in dungeons between maiden’s breasts” Lol get stuffed game.

So my choices are to buy the complete game or an incomplete version of the game for the same price…….. it’s a head-scratcher, but after much deliberation, I think I’ll go for the former xD

  7. The Otaku Judge says:

Senran kagura, Date A Live and now Omega Labyrinth. So many games I would buy on PS4, but end up getting on another system due to Sony’s madness. Might not even get a PS5 at this rate. I feel bad for PQube. Sony screwed them hard by banning the other Omega Labyrinth, after they spent so much cash localising it.
