Our heroines were in quite the pickle after the shocking previous episode. Some possibly gone for good. How would our surviving gay ninja spies deal with their current dilemma? Let’s find out.

Heroines in trouble.

Crazy doctor.
After Tendo and Mei the Traitor ran their mouths the apprentices were left with a crazy doctor who was about to torture them into submission so that their bodies could be experimented on. Luckily Momo remembered Master Yuki’s teachings and pulled herself together.

Doctor down.
Having paid attention to the doctor’s gloating she and Goemon were able to subdue her and avoid sheer agony. The doctor wasn’t as lucky though.

Momo’s strength.
The trio returned to what remained of Tsukikage base. Fu hadn’t yet recovered and wondered why her comrades acted indifferently. Momo was like “OF COURSE I’M HURT! But Master Yuki wouldn’t want me to mope all day but instead kick ass. We have plenty of time to grief after taking down Mouryou”. Fu got the message and the three were back in action. The first step was to gear up.

Apprentices gearing up for a counterattack.
Goemon remembered one of Hatsume’s emergency entrances in case of betrayal. The spies found surviving animal buddies but Byakko and Katrina were nowhere to be found. They’ll most likely show up in the finale. The trio had enough info to prepare for the counterattack but couldn’t get in touch with other allies. It was up to them and the animal buddies. Momo then remembered “OH CRAP! THEY’LL GO AFTER OUR FAMILIES!”

Excellent.
She was right of course. For their own safety our heroines had them take a nap.

Payback time.
NOW they were ready to fight back. BUT WAIT! A familiar cabby approached them. Who stepped out of the car but…

Master Yuki!
A bit worse for wear but Master Yuki positioned herself in a way to barely avoid the mecha puppet slashing her vital organs. How was she able to fool the enemy into thinking she’s dead?

Why blood flavored ketchup of course. It makes as much sense as Kryptonite Pills.
Of course Yuki was in no condition to fight. Momo was determined to make her and Master Nagaho proud.

Tendo celebrating with Moyrou contributors/sponsors, etc.
That’s the face of someone who has no intention of sharing world conquest with rich douches.

Theresia vs Goemon.
As the Apprentices stormed Kyuten Science the trio split up to face their fated opponents. Goemon used her raw power to take down Theresia. “No matter what crimes you committed working for Mouryou, Master Hatsume would still forgive you. So will I.”

Tendo wasn’t pleased.
“I was wondering why you didn’t blow up. No face turns on my watch. Instead you will die a slow, painful death.” Prediction: Hatsume will rescue Theresia.

Fu vs Mei.
Mei: Come Fu. Join the Mouryou side and we’ll never be poor again.
Fu: No.
Mei: But I want to be with you.
Fu: It’s because I love you that I must stop you.
Mei: Not today. Later babe.

Nice push-up bras though your knockers are already wonderfully big.

Flower of Doom.

Side-couple again.
Glad Master Yuki came back but wasn’t 100%. Main reason is because I’m tired of storylines where apprentices surpass masters by either seeing them sacrifice themselves or are forced to fight them. Just have Momo beat Tendo. Done. She accomplished what her master (and her master) couldn’t.
Next time the G-View.
I’m more convinced then ever Mei didn’t really change sides. She definitely is the one who undid the restraints when she was taunting them while tied to the chairs. And as they leave she yells where they are going. Then there was the fight with Fu and asking for specifics on the plan. But now I just don’t know if there trying to fool us again and she really did switch sides. Guess we’ll find out next week.

Kind of dumb of her for almost getting her friends killed.

All part of being a double agent. There’s always risks involved.

Yup. That’s what most of us are guessing.

120% convinced Mei is not part of Moryou actually. All points were given already by others, and a rebuttal was given, but to that I say: She believes in them that they could make it. She gave an opening, and that’s all she could hope to do so with having the enemy’s eyes constantly on her.
Also, I think Tendo suspects it, and that’s why she’s making sure Mei is with the corroborators (It’s crazy obvious their dumb selves are getting gassed/etc too. Why would you, as a member of a “super evil organization for world domination” EVER trust another member to the point of coming in-person!?) .
I am with you on Hatsume saving Theresia. My guess is Hatsume met up with Katrina and Byakko and all of them will burst onto the scene next ep (including Theresia) when things are at their limit.

Precisely. She had to put on a good show to make her betrayal believable. Happens all the time in spy flicks.
Yeah. Also you can tell by looking at her she ain’t the sharing type.
Yup. They’ll either come together or separately. Most likely together.

I’m more and more convinced Mei is a double agent. And I think she’s the one who loosened up the screw on Goe’s chair. Because Goe is the strongest of all. Yes, she almost killed Fu and others but she had to convince everyone that she’s part of Moryou cuz Tendo was watching her move all the time. Of course, Mei knows Fu can defend herself. And I think Fu is starting to sense Mei’s weird behavior (Mei threw too many bombs so Tendo can’t see Fu was getting away). I’m glad Yuki is alright. Like I said last week I hope no one dies. That includes Yuki’s master. I think Mei is working for her. I mean that would be so cool.

Agreed with almost everything you said. The one thing I’m unsure about is whether Nagaho is still alive. We’ll find out in the finale.

Hatsume saving Theresia is possibly, but I have my doubts and be seeing the three funerals.

The soundtrack when the Gekkako Dispersion Device (from here on dubbed the GDD) was unveiling reminded me of Red Alert 2’s soundtrack from back in the day. “Gentlemen, it’s a nuclear device.” Good times…

Pretty sure Mei is a double agent after her taunting and hint on where they were going. I’m thinking the remaining mentors are aware, and the students are getting their graduation test now.
Either way, I’m moving Mei up to second sexiest villain of the season. She killed it at the start of this episode.
It was nice to see our side couple on a date again. Hopefully it doesn’t end in disaster.
I thought it was going to be Hatsume that showed up first. I was surprised when they showed Yuki.

Something like that.
Tendo’s still one of the top 2 along with a certain purple haired evil kaijuu maker.
Fingers crossed.
Glad she wasn’t crippled. Just badly hurt.

Akane’s probably the sexiest character of the year for me. I say probably in case there’s a show I’m misremembering as last year.
That shot of her legs made it look like Hatsume’s wound.

I was tired earlier, and didn’t realize both Slow Start and Comic Girls were this year. Ruki and Eiko are serious competition in the overall category. Not so much in the villain category.

Momo, Goe and Fu getting things done. Nice to see them all working together to escape and make it back to base.
Yuki surviving was something I knew would probably happen, I guess actually killing her off would be too much. Although I still think it would be a surprising spin for this show had they actually done that.
Mei being a double agent seems more likely now, especially since she was (at least how I saw it) trying to get info from Tendo. Although I’m also wondering, if this Mei double agent theory is correct, if Tendo already knows about it and is just playing them all. I could see that happening actually.
Also, bunny outfit Mei is really sexy. Bunny outfits are totally my weakness.
I guess we’ll see how the team deals with the Flower of Doom in the finale. Should be good!

They’ve come a long way.
Nah. Not that kind of show.
I’m pretty sure Tendo is suspicious of Mei. She’s shown on multiple occasions to be quite cunning.
Along with maid outfits.
Pumped for the finale!

Tendo is most definitely the type of person to betray every last person around her if she isn’t absolutely sure she can control them.
Mei indeed does seem like a double agent…she’s playing the “part of the villain” a little too well, and doubt-/guilt-free to be the real bad guy…or she’s just that good of an actor that she’s playing the traitor playing the double agent when she’s really a traitor. One episode left to find out.
Yeah, we’ll definitely see a bunch of the survivors appear suddenly next episode out of nowhere. I’d bet my paper napkins on it.
Hopefully Hatsume was indeed watching, close enough to Theresia to save her…
Not bad from the apprentices. Seeing their chance, and taking all they’ve learned to make it through.
…And I think that device was a few scales bigger than they expected…
…Tomorrow morning, last episode for me! (I think.)
