Another “highlight reel” episodic. Doesn’t mean the episode was bad. Far from it. Twas another wonderful one. Just not much to talk about in detail.

First segment was about Sophie cleaning up her collection room. It served more as a “Can you guess what this is referencing?” segment. Readers born in the late 80’s like I was can easily recognize most of the items. Feel free to mention your favorite references in the comments. To the surprise of no one my highlights involved Hinata X Ellie. Nothing major but EVERY MOMENT between the two, no matter how big or small, puts a smile on my face.
Akari caught a cold.
The second segment had Akari catching a cold and Sophie being extra worried because she didn’t know what to do. The funny part was her repeatedly fearing the worst. But Akari, ever the trooper, didn’t let a fever stop her from focusing on what’s most important, her “children” and of course her one true love. Speaking of beloveds…

It took Hinata less than a minute to show up after Sophie called her for help.

Sophie and Ellie: Don’t worry about us. Vampires don’t catch colds.

After a while Akari was able to fall asleep. Sophie and Ellie were about to leave when…
Ellie humbly admitted defeat. Besides, she had someone else waiting to be wooed by her.
The following morning Akari was both fully healed and blessed by a most wonderful sight. She wanted to relish the bliss a while longer but Sophie’s reaction made her think twice. Sophie’s adorable.
Best part of the latest Post ED bonus segment was the end. I laughed my butt off.

Another great one! So many cute moments!
The game boy, the styrofoam cauctuar, and the furby were my favorite references. I had a furby when i was in elementary school. Took it to school with me and everything. Then my older brother threw it against the wall and killed it.
And i know the lure of buying stuff when your running out of room. But when ever i see a cool new transformer toy the demons always win. A strong man i am not.
And that post credit scene was indeed hilarious! My Sides! So good!

It’s probably a good idea that Ellie took that nap when she did. With the invention of the motion picture camera, she would have blown the lid off of vampires before the world was ready.
I remember when I had to get rid of my collection. Someone tell Sophie about public storage!
Speaking of dolls(heh). Did anyone notice the angry-looking doll in the middle of the frame? It looked ready to punch someone.
Sophie’s worry over Akari was adorable. She’s come to really cherish her weird friend. That Ellie managed to read the mood shows her growth as well.
I hope this show is popular enough for a second season.

As nice as it was for Akari getting both vampires in bed, I’m really happy how Ellie admitted defeat she knows she goes better with Hinata and she now knows Akari and Sophie belong together, Ellie is just a great character no matter from which angle you look at it.
Sophie finally displaying so much care towards Akari, constantly worried if she was gonna be fine, was amazing too.

So true. Finally sleeping side by side.
I think Sophie has a weak spot for Akari’s sadness. If Akari told her that she was lonely every night sleeping without Sophie, I’m sure Sophie couldn’t bring herself to refuse.
They could build a little, partly walled enclosure on one side of Akari’s bed for Sophie.
I was really hoping, though, that after that night Akari wouldn’t have remembered what happened during her fever, and that she would have just woken up, seen Sophie in bed with her, blushed, and wondered how it had happened. (or in silly anime style, lifted her own pajama to see if she was pregnant now, hihi)

As expected, I loved how there is so many references to video games. I find it funny how Sophie had the infamous Power Glove controller.
It’s obvious that Hinata is jealous that Ellie went to sleep in the same bed with Akari like Sophie did. I am surprised that she didn’t outright show her jealousy, although it’s somewhat apparent.

Another cute ep this time.
The cleaning segment was nice. Love those Ellie and Hinata moments too. Always a joy to watch.
Getting sick is never fun. At least Akari had a bunch of caring people to look after her, so she was able to recover well.
Really liked that shot of Ellie looking over her shoulder. Oh man she looked soooooooo good.
Sad to see this one end this week. Really gonna miss it.
