I’m just gonna say it. This was the best episode by far. Plus it helped heal the pain that was Saturday, December 8th. That was a rough day.
We began the episode with President Kohane excited to finally call their group the Chair Club around school when they got another request from the Manga Club.
So our heroines arrived at the manga club room and were greeted by the usual “no days off”, “no sleep required” hardcore mangaka. There were many highlights in this segment but let’s mention the ones most relevant to our needs. The club leader asked Kohane and Uki to hold hands like they were a couple. Kohane did it in less than a second. Uki’s reaction?
Next up was Arima asked to hug Ushiku from behind.
Where have I seen this before?
The second half was what many of us were super excited for coming into this episode. Sadly we’d have to wait a bit before the blessings.
See. After helping the Manga Club Uki was shocked by how much they enjoyed drawing despite being physically exhausted. Kohane though envied their drive and passion. She wanted to go Super Chair essentially. That’s when Arima brought up an upcoming Chairleader Tournament to prepare for, thus her organizing a training camp at her dad’s friend’s dojo. Sadly we still had to wait a bit longer for the blessings.
While the training was important Arima had one very important main objective, to strengthen her bond with Ushiku. Considering how madly in love with her Ushiku was to the point of being dubbed a “useless lesbian” it was easier said than done. But it sure as Flubber was wonderful to watch.
And now. At long last, what we’d been waiting for.
We end the episode with Ushiku agreeing to do her very best to control her libido around Arima. Ushiku FIGHTO!
Like I said. Best episode by far.
