And I thought last week’s episode was hectic.
We kicked off the episode with the revelation that it wasn’t due to the network disturbance that the mall fire occurred last week, but because of the BUER machine attacking Colonel Kurtz’ research group. Once again we’re shown that Kurtz’ method of achieving world peace involves violence.
After the two finished healing at the hospital Nene asked Clarion if there was something she wanted to do for herself.
While the Invincible Reporter was wallowing in her (mostly) undeserved despair as usual a mysterious mech walked nearby. Unfortunately she was once again KO’ed.
Turns out the pilot was Clarion along with a bunch of Gercommas, which made me wonder what conversation she had with Auntie prior to this regarding the BUER. Awesomeness ensued.
Clarion had a feeling for a while that the American bastards were getting out of hand and were after the BUER so she figured it was time to share the important message with auntie, thus answering my question. Her main objective was to stabilize BUER in order to keep her wife safe. Auntie sensed the gayness being strong in the kitty lezborg and granted her request, provided she only stun, not kill…or else she would have to file for a divorce.
Looks like auntie’s selfishness had not waned.
“I’M ORDINARY GREAT IDOL REPORTER VLI-“
Rebel Bunny was ready to exact her revenge for past failures and Clarion was like “…”. Their encounter ended exactly as one would expect, until…
Next week, Uzal vs The Big Guy.
American Empire wait…holy fuck we are in Ghost in the Shell

I wonder if Uzzal’s inside Buer? I still refuse to believe she’s actually dead. Especially since Nene and the goons are the only ones who even act like it’s a possibility.
Would the infiltration have gone better if she had Nene? Probably. moSt likely. But this is a chance for Nene to rescue Clarion. Since Clarion’s done it for her many times now.
Takumi ❤ I squeed when she started those chants (They sounded similar to buddhist prayers).
I still fail to get how “take control of a weapon of rampant death” equates to “world peace”, but that’s human logic for ya.

Very few viewers believe she’s dead.
It’ll be very interesting to see how Nene will help Clarion.
You being a Takumi fan I had a feeling you’d enjoy her “prayers”.
The same logic “sympathetic” villains with “noble” intentions use to achieve their goals..

We know she will. She loves her too much to not give it her all.

I new that things look a bit too suspicious in the last episode, but it’s not so surprising that that guy was behind it.
Still, makes me wonder how Nene will react when she sees that Clarion is missing next time.

Yup. It would have been weird if Kurtz were not behind the mall fire somehow.
She will leap to her rescue of course.

Hopefully Nene will have the courage stop this kind of evil and save Clarion.

This ep has shown the most human part in Claring. I love this ep.
(After this ep, I’ve seen Clarion in the quite and strictly person more than a cyborg)

Geez, Uzal sure made quite a beast in BUER. Which is why she’s the only one who can control it. Kurtz (and Takumi) are just asking for trouble by tampering with that thing.
I think it’s not a stretch to call Takumi a cyber-miko.
Clarion went to town on those guards. Without killing them, of course. It was a reasonable deal she made with Takumi after all.
“Don’t get involved.” Sorry Clarion, Nene’s gonna get involved whether you like it or not.

It’s just like foolish power hungry people to look for trouble.
Looking forward to seeing Nene’s rescue mission.

Nene just triggered a flag when she said “I want things to stay like this”…
