An educational episode in my anime about cyborg lesbians? Imagine that.
We kicked off the episode with…Aunt Takumi preparing to experiment on BUER…Oh dear.
Silly BUER. Just because you’re life is somewhat valuable doesn’t mean you can do whatever you please with the lesbian cyborgs.
You know this show rocks when they made a school enrollment interview amusing. Also “HOLDING HANDS! KYAAAAA!”
I wonder what Vampko a squeal sounds like?
If Nene and Clarion were playable in a Monster Hunter game I’d actually pick one up.
Nene and Clarion had a neat discussion regarding Nene’s purpose and whether it’s necessary to go to school.
Truly an admirable reporter the Invincible One is.
Oh and bunny girl’s spying again.
I have no comment regarding the insanity that were the visits to the companies auntie’s associated with or in charge of.
Nene wanted a more up close experience observing someone working so she followed this journalist. Poor invincible one got shafted.
Never expected a series starring cyborg lesbians to include discussions about the economy, disaster relief charities and what classifies as a “job”. Then again Nene’s goal is world peace and her wifey is sort of more machine than girl so both are learning valuable life lessons from their experiences.
Oh my. Vandals. Not good.
Our heroines were ready to kick ass but the citizens stood up to the vandals.
Must be rough having to do dirty deeds against your will…at least I think she’s forced to cause trouble.
This being Nene we’re talking about it wouldn’t shock me that she can use Cyber Chef-Clone Jutsu. And thus ClariNe saved the day.
We get a better glimpse of the mastermind, Colonel Kurtz’ face. We’ll see what his ultimate diabolical plan is when he’s ready to implement it.
Oh and Nene defended Clarion against auntie’s empty threat.
A calmer episode than usual but still a worthwhile watch. See you all next week.
lol…and here I thought we were getting a school episode, should have known better
Also, Takumi really needs to not play so much with her toys before dissecting them xD
Nene has established herself as the new head of household (in everything but official documents anyway) xD
Best show this season!

We were educated so it might as well have been one.
Hehe.

That it is.

Best part of this: People desperately trying to find some super deep meaning with future plottwist in it (yes many try that). When will the realize it is not that kind of show? 😀

As usual GitS fan opinions do not interest me as the show made clear it is not a moetastic spin-off related to said series’ universe. Its only similarity is that it stars a cyborg girl, or girls in this show’s case.

Looks like the immortal reporter has had her thunder stolen by a newcomer. It’s the sad price one pays to constantly cheat death.
Takumi: (I finally know of the perfect plan of distracting Nene!) Nene, I made reservations for a fancy restaurant, but it appears that I can’t go. Would you and Clarion go in my place?
Nene: Are you sure?
Takumi: It will be just the two of you. Consider it a date.
Nene: A-a date, with Claring!!! Thank you!
Takumi: No need to thank me….

Just a nitpick, but you forgot to use Takumi’s verbal tic, yeah.

He used it once near the end, yeah. But you are right as auntie uses it consistently.

The educational development of cyborg lesbians are very important for the future of our children. We must protect this future for the good of yuri.

As long as Nene’s around, BUER won’t be dissected anytime soon. Aside from that, no one cares about him one bit.
I liked that conversation Nene and Clarion had after she enrolled. Nene may be a full-body cyborg that can do anything and was involved with some interesting research when she was younger but she still wanted to experience what it was like to be a normal high school girl.
Takumi’s contacts were a great source for that on-the-job assignment. However, the staff falling over themselves to show her the latest in everything just to stay on Takumi’s good side just wasn’t what she was looking for. Following Prosperina around was just what the doctor ordered. Additionally, becoming a supreme chef to bring smiles to the people affected by the terrorist attacks was a big plus.
But seriously, that Colonel Kurtz is such a jerk. Who sends thugs to break up relief efforts!?

His only strong point is his “Ye olde English” dialect.
Something to think about regarding Nene’s character.
It was both an amusing and weird segment, like the show as a whole.
Not cool but his plans seem to revolve around causing mass hysteria.

It seems that Takumi will never learn not to mess with Nene and Clarion considering that she had her security hacked in the last episode.
Still, it’s interesting that Nene has really good cooking skills without doing any.

Just one of Nene’s many dormant skills she has that her marriage to Clarion helps awaken from time to time.

Just tell you know that Nene is a yandere girl so we’d better not to flirt with Clarin (or try to mess around with her)

I found it funny that of all the thugs, the fat mohawk guy is the one wearing a mask. I mean, is he really hiding his identity?
On a side note, I couldn’t find episode one post. Maybe you didn’t do an episodic for some reason? Also I feel like I’m missing something as the harem was never properly explained, they just suddenly showed up in episode one… are the audience just expected to infer their relationship with Uzal?

Probably a joke.
Most likely I and others misinterpreted Uzal and the Rebels’ relationship. But let’s be real, would it surprise you that Uzal had a yuri harem? Have you seen that woman?
Episode 1 coverage. I stopped using the “Ghost Urn” subtitle from episode 2 and onward.
