And to think I initially thought it would take me this long (4 years) to get 1-2 million views.
Team Gaydere for future women’s wrestling tag team champions.
A wise (but sometimes angry) Youtube wrestling personality, Dalyxman, once said that there are four kinds of people in life:
- People who like you and will support you all the way.
- People who initially didn’t think much of you but eventually warmed up to you.
- People who initially liked you but lost interest over time.
- People who don’t like you and only want to see you fail.
Over the years as a blogger and in real life I knew at least one of each of these kinds of people. As I stated many times there are people I can get along with and others I cannot. All I can do is keep going forward, doing my best and make sure the people who do support me have good reason to continue doing so. If I get more supporters in the process, cool.
I initially planned on celebrating this accomplishment by posting a video revealing myself and thanking everyone for the continued support and just running my mouth talking about yuri or whatever else I felt like discussing. Let’s be honest though, none of you out there are my fans because you want to meet me in person. You back me up because of my passion and dedication to supporting, promoting and reveling animation and comics featuring stories about women falling in love with each other, both of the subtext and canonical variety.
Dunno how many ways there exist out there to thank everyone who continues coming to me for their dose of yuri goodness and some who even spread the word of my “teachings”, reactions and other fun stuff I do that miraculously get chuckles once in a while. So yeah thanks again and here’s to many more years of spreading yuri love worldwide. The Yuri Nation’s growth, both the yuri fanbase and my blog will continue growing in the hopes that one day there will be no shortage or rarity of anime about women openly loving one another and through many trials and tribulations succeeding or losing in a fair fight rather than get screwed over.
As usual I won’t make any promises about change or new additions to the blog due to my lack of punctuality or money to hire new staff so all I can say is stay tuned for more Yuri Nation goodness.
Oh and I also got 1000 Tumblr followers. Dunno how that happened. My not having reached 1000 Twitter followers yet makes sense because I hardly do anything there except rant about wrestling and OCCASIONALLY comment about a show I’m watching or interested in.
