I seriously hope this gets the Little Witch Academia treatment and gets a sequel because I want to see more. Like Yuru Yuri Nachuyachumi! this will be covered like an episodic rather than a review.
Here we meet one of the two protagonists in Haru Chitose…whose real name is Chiharu Yuzuka.
Late for class because of a cat.
Who did not see this coming.
Ah, the “cute girl who’s into creepy stuff” trope.
It’s good being me.
And this after Haru sneaked a peek into Eri’s PC without her permission.
Again, being me is awesome.
Haru wanted to enter a singing competition but Eri refused.
I wonder why…
There’s no need to show the explanation as to why Eri didn’t want to compete because it’s obvious after seeing the above scene.
But I will show this though.
That’s certainly one way for a girl to get another one to speak up.
Whether it was secretly all part of Haru’s plan or Sakura figuring out what Haru was up to, it worked and Eri joined in on the singing. After it was made official…
Sexy (yuri-ish) montage with a nice (yuri) song.
Of course in every presentation of this format, what comes after a positive montage? A tension filled dramatic moment that temporarily rips the protagonists apart of course.
Might as well enjoy the good times while they last, right?
Overall a fun pitch for a show I’d love to see get a one cour.
Update: It got one in 2018 though different than what was expected. Even so it was quite interesting.
Yep! Really hoping this gets itself an actual season! Had some rough spots, but that’s mostly because everything was introduced and solved in 25 minutes. A full run would definitely net us a great show to watch~

Not really a rough spot, more like formulaic progression.

Anyone know the name of the song that Haru sung in the first two minutes of the show? I kept replaying that part over and over again… I love it…

Interesting question. Hope the songs become available soon.

This art style really reminds me the Sakura Trick. Anyone has the same thinking with me?

It’s directed by the same person and the same studio.

Quote from anime news net
“Kana Yamada (Sakura Trick) is writing the script. ”
That explains it makes sense now :O

This yuiri-anime is developing a new business model to sell “Character Imagine Music CD”.
And try to find a good way to get money without Blue-ray DVD’s selling.
It is because yuri-anime often have low market share of Blue-ray DVD.
I explained this model in my blog.

“Eri, let’s make music together!” and we all know music = love…

That is correct.

Haru must have played Kindred Spirits on the Roof before — her Youka-inspired on-stage confession to Eri is just as awesome!
