Hyperdimension Neptunia TV English Dub Cast And Release Date

Purple Heart TV

I do not know how many of us there are in the Western Hyperdimension Neptunia fanbase but I have always been a bigger fan of the English dub of the franchise over the Japanese one. Nothing against the JP cast (My mistress voices Peashy after all) but I became enamored with the English cast because they added their own flair that made each character unique rather than sound similar to any other cast of moe girls and babes. With that being said I was pleased to hear one of my peeps (who almost never shows up anymore) shared a link that revealed both the English cast of Neptunia TV and its release date. I don’t care that Funimation picked it up. THIS IS NEPTUNIA AND I AM A HUGE NEPTUNIA FAN!

Here’s the cast and I am very happy to see that the majority of the franchise’s cast will reprise their roles with a few exceptions.

  • NEPTUNE – Melissa Fahn
    NOIRE – Erin Fitzgerald
    VERT – Tara Platt
    BLANC – Wendee Lee
    NEPGEAR – Christine Marie Cabanos
    UNI – Sarah Williams
    RAM – Shelby Lindley
    ROM – Carrie Keranen
    HISTOIRE – Stephanie Sheh
    IF – Megan Shipman
    COMPA – Cristina Vee
    PLUTIA – Cherami Leigh
    PEASHY – Tia Ballard
    REI – Morgan Garrett
    ARFOIRE – Laura Post
    WARECHU – Sara Ragsdale
    ANONYDEATH – David Vincent
    TRICK – Josh Grelle
    UNDERLING – Morgan Berry
    5PB. – Caitlin Glass
    ABNES – Stephanie Sheh
    SETAG – Whitney Rodgers

To me the big ones are Melissa Fahn as Neptune and Christine Marie Cabanos as Nepgear because to me they ARE those characters. Awesome seeing Cristina Vee reprising Compa but sadly Kate Higgins won’t be back as IF. I’m sure Megan Shipman will do a fine job. The other CPUs all retain their English actors but on the Candidates’ side ROM’s will not return. Eh, I doubt it’ll be hard to do an adorable soft spoken girl. Hmm, Pirachu’s won’t be returning either but really Pirachu’s thing is ending most of his sentences with “chump”. David Vincent as Anonydeath and Stephanie Sheh as Abnes will return. I’m expecting another over the top effeminate performance from David. I will admit that Abnes’ “Ga-thunk!”s are not as epic as her “Ga-ran!”s. The rest we’ll see how it goes.

As I said I am happy most of the major players will reprise their roles and therefore am super pumped for the English dub which will be released on June 9th.

And now it’s gotten to a point where I only recognize 3 or 4 names of a dub cast instead of the entire crew. Oh well, change is good.

A good point that you made was that most the cast reprise their roles which is rare for dubs when there has been 1+ years between seasons.

I haven’t watched this in a while and remember enjoying it so maybe I’ll give the dub a try.

well ta-da indeed almost the entire band is back together for anime dub by Funi give few difference such as IF & peashy will have change voice only for anime dub version.

Well you do talk about English dubs a lot so you’re right about being experienced, but yeah this will be a good dub.
