Girl Friend BETA Episode 4: Midterm Terror

Cute girls and kitties. How could a Girls Club aficionado resist such a winning combo? Oh and bad memories for some along with ongoing woes.

I swear every time Aoi Yuuki uses her calm, low voice I feel bliss which is why Shiranui-san is one of my fav characters.

Nerds Hair Girl

Niigaki with her Nerds candy box style hair is an automatic turn on. Hope to see more from her in the future.

Street Performer Girl

I like Street Performer Girl so seeing more from her is fun.

Lazy Model Girl Modeling

We already know Lazy Model Girl from episode 2 with her sage weight loss tips. Maybe I should make a Life Lesson post based on episode 2.

Judo Girl

Almost forgot about Judo Girl. This particular scene had me laughing my butt off.

Cougar alert!

My sexy older woman senses are tingling.

Radio Girl

Radio Girl took the role of leader figure this week which Kokomi normally has.

Bum Girl

For now I’ll dub this character Bum Girl until further notice. I like her speech pattern.

The plot this week was both simple and VERY identifiable. Radio Girl and Shiranui-san found some abandoned kittens and immediately looked for students to adopt them. The girls I mentioned other than Bum Girl who was randomly spotted throughout the episode wanted to adopt the kitties but their parents all told them they had to get an acceptable grade for their midterms. Class Rep and Radio Girl set up a 3-day study group. One can easily guess how it went. Seriously. Believe it or not, like the weight loss episode this was a another very informative episode, or rather a “I know what this feels/felt like” episode.

Next week the vice-president will debut. Should be fun.

PS: This also happened.

I swear, this show…

I’m totally in love with Aoi Yuuki. Though Madoka is her best role and Madoka has high voice but her low voice is godly too.

Any show with Aoi Yuuki as main character is awesome. This show is so full of cuteness and adorable girls, it’s almost an overload, almost. At least this show seems to take things in a real life perspective like the dieting and the girls having to earn the right to have a kitten by improving their grades. If they wanted one badly enough they’d prove it by getting better.

Cute girls doing cute things is always a pleasant way to start the day.

Sadly she is a side-character in this series. We were lucky to be graced by an episode where her character appeared often.

It’s the simple things in life that can lead to great SoL episodes like this one. Not many will understand what I mean but that is how I see it.

For Girls Club fans like us, yes.

Oh Nao Touyama, I only recently noticed you’re voice in Kiniro Mosaic but every time I hear it I get an urge to listen to it more and more. Beside obsession on my part this episode was excellent, especially considering how easily they got distracted (totally relating right now).

Every single time….they take a common trope, and just knock it out of the park

This show is just amazing for a CGDCT show. The only real issue with it is that it has no real central characters, so we don’t get a whole lot of focus on specific characters like normal. But, it still manages to be tons of fun~

And cats! CATS! A full episode devoted to adorable kittens!

They currently have a magic touch with this formula. Hope they can keep it up.

It’s similar to Sengoku Collection so I know the drill.

Like I said, cute girls and kitties is win!

this was cute show with cute cats and cute girls with cute cats.

I knew Shiranui was voiced by Aoi Yuuki, but I wasn’t used to the low, calm tone she used. My brother knew he had heard that way of speaking before and then, after looking at past roles, we realized that we had heard this style before; when she was the voice actress for Victorique. Totally different from the last role she had (which was in Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V, but I digress).

I’m glad they got the kitties in the end, what with all that hard work they put in, like slumber partying, shopping, bathhouse visit…
