Life Lessons: Vacation Edition

Last month, I went on a, for the most part, enjoyable 1 week cruise across the Caribbean seas. However, it wasn’t always relaxing. There were definitely some obstacles that would attempt to ruin my happy times. Here are some tips to help make any future cruises for all my disciples more tolerable.

Pretend this guy's bonking the girl on the head1: Patience is a virtue with toddlers. I know how difficult it is for some to restrain themselves from bonking a younger relative of theirs but in order to avoid any hostilities or a brain tumor, try as hard as possible to stay calm.

2: Make sure the toddler in question is someone you know. If this is a relative you have met for the first time ever and are about to spend a week or more sailing with the child…take some headache pills just in case.

Neptune X Nepgear2: Bikinis are our friends. Yes. However, restrain yourself from your inner desires, it does not matter which sex you are. Leave the women, or men wearing tights, do their thang…unless this person if your beloved, in which all “activities should be reserved for when these sneaky devils sneak into the captain’s cabin with the mic turned on.

Idol Noire and Uni3: If there is any entertainment on board the ship, do not pass it by. You saved up and paid a lot of money to have a good time, so don’t hold back.

Free-Header4: If you have a beach worthy body…or not, show off your pecks (male or female) to the world and you MIGHT get lucky.

Money5: Bring extra money to spend whenever the ship docks at one of the destinations. Who knows? The new country being visited may have cheaper items than the local stores.

Space Cruise6: Last but not least, IT’S A CRUISE! Have fun with it doods and peeps!

This is quite a FUNNY life lesson OG-Man! Especially the picture with Azunyan, hilarious! Best of all, it actually applies as I’m about to embark on a eastern Caribbean cruise of my own, 12/1 ~ 12/8. It’s stopping at Cococay, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, and Philipsburg, St. Maarten. I’m super excited about it!

The only drawback is, it won’t be making a port call at Aruba. I think that’s where you live right? I was hoping it’ll stop by there so that I could invite you to lunch and talk yuri 😀

Hello OG-man I’m back from my own cruise vacation, and it was wonderful! While it was snowing in Dallas the first week of December (unusually early for Dallas) I was enjoying sunshine and beaches and warm ocean winds in the Caribbean. Ahhh what a life ^o^

Knowing me I even got in some otaku activities in the middle of the ocean, amongst other vacation activities like non-stop eating, island sightseeing, etc. First I caught up with reading the Strawberry Panic light novel (which I got many months ago from Anime Pop store here in Dallas) but never got around to reading much, then I watched some Last Exile episodes (in preparation of future viewing of Fam The Silver Wing as you recommended for my yuri fix), and finally I even read quite a few NanoFate doujins that I downloaded a while ago. Fun!!

So here’re a couple of photos from my cruise:

Welcome back Elder One! Glad you had a great time on your vacation. I didn’t get to do anything anime related on my cruise. I want to go somewhere there are anime collectibles. I really do.
Anyway, good to have you back dood.

Saw your pics. You look pretty cool and laid back Elder One.
