The Dynamic Dude known as Acerailgun posted a 50 questions thingamabub on his blog. The same goes Hippiefreak .Marth,Snippettee and Yerocha also have some cool answers. So I figured, hey I already celebrated 100000 views with public review survey, let me jump into the fray as well. So, here we go. 50 questions. If anyone wishes to ask me other things, I’ll answer based on how personal the question is. Too personal will get a blank.
1. Who is your favorite Male anime character?
A better question would have been which male anime character’s physical and devotional humiliation/torture amused me the most? That would be Yo Sato from Ben-To.
My honest answer for question 1 is Kenshin Humora from Samurai X, or Rurunou Kenshin.
2. Who is your favorte Female character?
Tough question…sexiest is Lady Tomoe from Queen’s Blade. Most awesome…I’ll get back to you on that.
3. What is your favorite anime soundtrack?
Ben-To: Perfect combination of actin and comedy in this soundtrack.
4. What is your favorite anime opening + animation?
Magical Pokahn: because it’s the 1st anime OP I saw that is 100% contradictory to what the anime’s content is. Seriously, watch the OP then the 2nd episode (The 1st one’s kinda lame) and you’ll see what I mean.
5. What is your favorite anime ending song + animation?
Kannazuki no Miko’s ED by Kalafina. Still don’t know what they’re saying but one picture is all you need to embrace the greatness of ChiMeko.
6. What is your favorite anime scene?
The confession scene in the last episode of Kannazuki no Miko. So beautiful it made me cry. It still does for some reason.
7. If you could meet an anime character who would it be?
Kamina to personally teach me the secret of being the epitome of male badassery.
8. What anime character is most similar to you in terms of personality?
Keiichi Morisato from Ah! My Goddess. I honestly can’t think of any other guy right now.
9. What is your favorite thing about anime?
Ramdomness, over the top stories (Sometimes enlightening ones) and equally bigger than life characters. Oh and how fewer boundaries anime has compared to Western animation. Not even Adult Swim or Family Guy can compete with a single PG-13 anime.
10. What is your least favorite thing about anime?
emo crap where it isn’t necessary, ESPECIALLY Mecha anime. Writers constantly using “friendship” as an excuse to deny the two girls of being in love with each other. 99% of male harem leads and the women chasing after him who usually have the integrity the size of a pea.
11. Who are your favorite anime couple?
Himeko and Chikane from Kannazuki no Miko. The couple that enlightened me on the unrivaled greatness that is yuri romance.
12. Who is your favorite anime animal?
Kyuubei for being a Mephistoles plushie.
13. What anime would make a good game?
Most of the ones I liked have already had video game adaptations so I can’t think of one right now.
14. What game would make a good anime?
Rogue Galaxy, Valkyrie Profile 2, Blazblue, Rayman.
The Atelier Arland Trilogy: AS LONG AS THEY HAVE: Rorona/Cordelia, Totori/Mimi and whoever The Nation can support in Atelier Meruru other than Totori/Mimi. If they can do that, I’m sold.
15. What was the first anime you ever watched?
Sailor Moon Dubbed (The pain of English Dubbing, though there are exceptions).
16. Do you think you’ll ever stop watching anime?
As long as my future bride is okay with my awesomeness, I’ll be watching anime till it ceases to exist.
17. What is your favorite genre of anime?
Yuri, Slice of Life, Action, Comedy, Horror. In short, I’m free spirited and open to almost anything anime has to offer except Yaoi. Not because I dislike homosexuals, I just prefer watching seeing women fall in love with each other. The only way you’re going to get me to become Ambivalent is by paying me. No other way.
18. What is your least favorite genre of anime?
Rant time: Mecha anime. Like I said earlier, it pisses me off that EVERY SINGLE TIME there has to be emotional BS associated with mecha shows. WHY?! Can’t the pilot just be a defender of justice whose only concern is protecting the people and planet they care about or something random? Why do most of them have to be mopey? What’s the point of being sappy when piloting a giant robot kicking other robots or aliens’ asses? This is why in my opinion, the undisputed greatest animated mecha show in the history of animation will always be…MEGAS XLR! Very few shows with robots in it come even close to the sheer perfection of Megas XLR. Even Transformers. I could continue by ranting on how much I can’t stand the human characters who are constantly forced in Transformers cartoons. That’s why I love the Beast Wars series so much: NO HUMANS! Don’t even get me started on the Bayformers movies. GOH!
19. Are you open about watching anime with people you know?
Most of my neighbors know I’m an animeniac while my parents still can’t tell the difference between American and Japanese. One of these days I plan to have them marathon a KEY anime.
20. Have you ever been to Japan?
Not yet. Maybe someday.
21. What anime was the biggest let down for you?
Yamibou. What the hell kind of ending was THAT?!
Nisemonogatari: For shoving plot, intrigue and mystery for…THAT SHOWER SCENE! I’ll never get over it. Screw you for pissing all over the prequel’s coolness.
22. What anime was better then expected?
I have a watchlist of mainstream anime to watch. One of them has got to be as good as millions claim.
23. What is the best anime fight scene?
The entire 4 (Or was it 5?) part battle between Team Kenshi and Shishioh from Samurai X, solidifying Shishioh Makoto as the best Samurai X villain and one of my all time favorite anime villains.
24. Who is your anime waifu?
Too many to choose from. For now I’ll go with Miku from Symphogear.
25. What was your favorite video game as a child?
Barney’s Hide and Seek game.
26. Most Embarrassing moment?
Getting cocky during a fighting game at a convention and immediately losing afterward. I don’t get embarrassed that easily because I enjoy being over the top, especially during drama or public speaking.
27. Can you drive?
I don’t have a license yet but I can.
28. Do you own a car?
No license.
28. Are you mature?
I’m usually quiet and serious. I only unleash the inner OGMan when it’s most convenient. So yes, I am serious most of the time.
29. What year were you born?
1987.
30. Do you prefer cats or dogs?
Cats and dogs have come and gone. I still mourn those whom I loved to play with and raise. They were my best friends but like my human friends, they come and go. That’s why I stopped I making best friends a long time ago. It hurts me. Back to the question, I can;t decide between a mobile rug and a hyperactive mongrel.
31. Describe yourself physically.
6’0, big boned, short black hair and full of manly hair all over my body.
32. What would you name your first child?
Male: Can’t decide yet.
Female: Ophelia.
33. What is the worst injury you have ever had?
A childhood asthma attack (Thank goodness I’m not longer asthmatic) and getting Dengue. In short, I thank our most glorious and Almighty GOD that I’ve yet to receive an injury painful enough to have me hospitalized.
34. What is your worse habit?
Procrastination like so many other Animeniacs.
35. Do you drink or smoke?
Beer tastes like piss, alcohol doesn’t interest me. Neither does smoking. If it doesn’t interest me, I won’t do it, like Kim Kardashian.
36. Do you have a tattoo?
Not interested.
37. Are you a morning person or a night person?
I”ve been a night owl since I started college.
38. Have you ever slept past midday?
Not that I’m aware of. The longest I slept was from 8 PM to 12 PM.
39. Do you regret anything?
Too personal. Let’s just say I should have got a Master’s degree by now.
40. Can you count the number of friends you have on one hand?
Like I said, they come and go. Right now I have 2 I keep in touch with.
41. Do you wear glasses?
Yup.
42. Are you a picky eater?
I won’t eat bunny or horse meat.
43. Would you die for someone?
Family and future loved one but I’m more useful to the planet Earth alive so I’ll do my best not to.
44. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Super strength, speed and time manipulation.
45. Do you believe in the supernatural?
I believe in GOD and that’s enough. Everything else is fun to read about but not take seriously.
46. Would you rather be rich or famous?
I would like to have enough money to support myself and my loved ones. I don’t need a large mansion…though I wouldn’t mind owning a castle. As for being famous…I hate Hollywood.
47. Have you ever committed a crime?
Stealing pocket change from my dad’s pants back in my youth. Not anymore.

I’d like to be an elemental warlock.

Hehehe. If you knew me, you’d immediately tell the ONLY reason I answered that question was to give an answer. There’s NO WAY I would dare steal Miku away from the woman she loves. She was just the 1st person I thought of when the word waifu came to mind.

Heck yeah for MEGAS XLR. Brofist on that one. Ah, good times…good times. Nearly forgot about Rogue Galaxy, that would make for an interesting anime series – but I would like too see the Atelier series animated myself. #33 yikes, my brother had a similar one when I was little it scared me half to death (no pun intended). Luckily, he does not have them either.

NICE! Brofist back at ya. It’s always cool meeting another fan of the show. Actually there are many RPGs that could make good anime if done right. Skies of Arcadia is another great one.
I haven’t played any of the Atelier Iris games but the Atelier Arland ones are pretty good. Can’t wait for Atelier Meruru, though I’m not exactly chipper for the new upcoming Atelier series after the Arland trilogy. I could be wrong though, it may be good.
Great to hear your little brother no longer has them. Not pleasant at all it was.

I played the Iris series before, Eternal Mana the first game would be a good one, but that is the only one I am sure of. On the other hand, both of the Mana Khemia would be nice, too.
I was lucky enough to play both Rorona and Totori for a short time, but would say Totori is better (those freaking deadlines for one). Meruru would make a nice birthday present, depending if it is release early in May before the 8th.
Oh, it is was older brother and yeah, it was scary. Can not imagine having one.

Coop vs Coop will always be one of the coolest final battles of all time.
I’m more of a Fina fan myself. Aika’s also cool, but I liked Fina’s more gentle and determined personality over Aika’s already energetic and tomboyish attitude. Oh who am I kidding, I’m envious Vyse has two awesome girlfriends to snuggle with…if he ever did.
I missed out on most Nippon Ichi published games in the PS2 era. The only ones I picked up are the ones they personally produced, Disgaea 1 and 2, Phantom Brave, La Pucelle, Makai Kingdom and Soul Nomad) I missed out on the Iris trilogy, Mana Khermia series and Ar Tonelico (The 3rd series not my thing. A little too harem-esque).
For the PS3, I missed out on Disgaea 3 (Probably order it online eventually) but I do have 4. I also have Cross Edge (Not good but not horrible) and I ordered both Neptunia games for the Summer. I also have Totori because most fans recommended I skip Rorona. Hopefully I’ll have enough money to buy Meruru when it comes out.

Like I replied to Ecchi Catgirl, I answered Miku because she was the only girl who came to mind. As far as yuri goes, Miku is the perfect spouse for Hibiki.
I won’t push you to continue watching Symphogear because you have a different mindset than I do so it’s up to you whether you wish to continue or not.

I repeat, I only chose Miku because she’s the 1st person who popped into my head. She belongs to Hibiki and ONLY Hibiki. I don’t particularly have a REAL anime girl I’d like to make my waifu.

@18 BEAST WARS! You have so much respect from me right now! And yeah, I feel the same way whenever I see some lame kid interfering with my robots. (though I AM okay with good mecha shows, and I’ll admit that I liked the two (technically three) Gundam shows I’ve seen. But that’s separate from Beast Wars).

Glad to meet another Beast Wars fan. My main issue with mecha anime is that the protagonists usually suck. That’s the problem. Rarely do we get good protagonists in mecha anime.
